You can use the OBC for excursions prior to sailing. That is it for everything else you can use it once you board. If you book an excursion it will ask you if you want to apply credits or not

But embarkation dinner is automatic. We just Cale the dine line to arrange time. On the rare occasion we don’t like the times they offer we just go to the venue and get things changed they will not turn away a full suite passenger

Haines can handle at least one large ship. We docked there on the Royal last August

Crocs and sandals are not really what I would call workout wear. Except for boots for snow I no longer have any lace up shoes

The aft penthouse balconies on the Royal class are awesome much better than an Owners suite unless you are going to host a humongous party

The menus in the speciality restaurants do not change. I would rather have the option of many menus especially on a long cruise. I love many of the extra dishes and am not wedded to any one table except for the ones that look like a couch I do not care for since you sink too low

The slide just put the one dock out of commission the others are in use. If you dock in Skagway the will tender you to the train

You do know that the dress code is casual in the Crown Grill

It can be anything from t shirt weather to bundle up and still be cold. You can’t really plan on anything

The medallion itself is how you open your door pay for things etc. On our last 4 cruises I only used my phone to check on my folio which you can also do from your tv

Why would they not cover you didn’t eat in the MDR but you still paid tips for dining with your daily gratuities

Gratuities for specialty dinners are covered as long as you pay the normal per day gratuities. No different from the MDR

If you drink little or no alcohol then the packages are probably not right for you

Full suites are larger than minis and come with more perks like Sabatini’s breakfast, free laundry and one time mini bar but no category comes with drinks, WiFi and gratuities for those you either need a package like Plus. Go to the Princess website to find all the perks for each category

Was this a casino comp cruise ? If so the $200 per person deposit converts to OBC and will show as such on your travel summary

Already done that no help. Same with my friends on the same cruises. Going to wait till after our March Panama cruise
