  1. Or sharing extra entrees and no wait sitting and personal service
  2. After the cruise ours go into recycling
  3. I do admire programs like that. However I see a big difference between feedin homeless and underemployed and the crew members who have a very nice crew buffet and yes I have eaten there in the past
  4. So all those things sitting in the IC for hours should be passed out ? Those things in the buffer that are partial trays. I don’t think so. I also bothered by folks who take one of everything from the buffet and throw 3/4 of it away. I have seen many people grab 4-5 sandwiches take one bite of each and throw the rest away.
  5. Then why not upgrade now and pay up front. Is all your OBC non refundable ? If you can’t use I will be glad to use it for you
  6. If drink prices go up that could trigger a change if my favorites don’t stay under $15
  7. The package still show $60 per person per day. Even if they add things and raise prices you should be able to keep your original price but you would not get new features. The happened them the went from plus50 to plus60
  8. Yes are you losing Vines ? They have one of my favorite wines and keeps it under the e plus package level which is what we cruise with
  9. We also do Wordle and Connections from NY Times at breakfast. Keeps u pur minds working as we age
  10. No notifications but I will glance at my phone every so often. Since most of our travel group are on I phones we just use the regular texting feature on the phone which does give notifications. You can stay in airplane mode and on medallion net. No charges
  11. If you had been on the Grand early August you would have been at the lunch as the number 3 most traveled was under 400 days and someone I know who was at lunch was under 200. It is all about the itinerary With 550 days we figure it is a 50/50 shot any given cruise
  12. It was a level but really no benefits to speak of. I know this was prior to 2001
  13. We were on the Grand first 2 weeks of August. Luncheons were held both weeks. I do not believe this is fleet wide. Kind of like sharing a pizza in Alfredo’s or a charcuterie plate in Vines. Ok on some ships and not others
  14. Those landslides did not affect or were the pier. If you were planning going up to one of the higher elevations there may be a problem My sister is going there on a different line and has been told no issue
  15. That is basically the entire time the restaurant is open 😝
  16. Again prime time is a subjective term. Some like to eat early some late
  17. If they can’t get tables I would expect the guest services to be handling lots of complaints and passing out lots of OBC
  18. My embarkation dinner is a guaranteed one and I do not like to pay for these in advance. Plus I don’t really like the menu at Harmony, my wife is allergic to many white fish and not having Sabatini’s is a downer. If the concierge cannot help out I would be very surprised
  19. Was this the MTG cocktail party for 40 people or the Captains Circle party for all past cruisers ?
  20. We are sailing on the Majestic late September and will see right now all restaurants are wide open
  21. In either case it is only a curtain between the 2 rooms not doors. In suites that are 400-600 square feet total the difference is not that much. My issue with the forwsrd premiums is the small side balcony as opposed to large aft balconies on Penthouses
  22. Suite concierges and casino hosts can work miracles. Especially on embarkation day suites are guaranteed specialty dining and we book those when we board
  23. I doubt they book every table ahead of time. They have to leave some availability for suites, casino patrons etc
  24. Isn’t it still the same table regardless if one or two people are using it ? I have never seen a table for one
