  1. And worth every penny that it costs!
  2. Are you serious? If so, immediate tinkering with their business model with regard to food is needed.
  3. I had a traveling companion who required a scooter during her last cruises. She used it ashore as well as onboard. The only issue was her "driving ability". I ended up with scraped ankles; she accidentally ran over the toes of a woman when trying to back out of an elevator. I was amazed at how well the crew handled her disembarkation and embarkation at our ports. One gangway was somewhat unusually steep. One crew member served as a "front brake" holding onto the front of the scooter and another served as a " rear brake" holding onto its rear.
  4. No disagreement from me about the soup! It is delicious and is even more so, I think, when it is served on deck overlooking the glaciers on a cold, damp morning or afternoon.
  5. I'll open a new pizza discussion topic. Does the way a pizza is cut have any importance to you? In my community, the most popular of the local establishments cut their pizzas into easy to handle squares. The chain pizza restaurants cut their pizzas into pie shaped wedges. (There are smaller local pizza restaurants whose product is wedge shaped.) Obviously, this has nothing to do with the quality of the dough to make the crust or the quality of the toppings. However, I have found--at least in my community--some prefer one way their pizza is cut as compared with the other method. Any comments?
  6. Go back to when crossings were common place and in the early days of cruising: Reserved deck chairs that one paid for and a Deck Steward who provided service for those guests in the reserved chairs.
