  1. I suppose you plenty of time to sort it out and it wouldn't just be used on this trip.
  2. It is in Chile, Name and location please.
  3. Good work, I was going to suggest you could order one ( or I could) and have it delivered here in Australia, I could then deliver it to you when we meet up. Although you still have your flight to Auckland once here.

  7. I think it a much better sort up on the Noordam, the Oosterdam only had 2 chairs in the library anyway.
  8. Noordam doesn't but the Oosterdam does, so I suppose the Westerdam and Zuiderdam do as well.
  9. I noticed a difference in layout for the Oosterdam and the Noordam despite them being the same class ship. I preferred the Noordam's layout as it had a Cafe by the library on the 3rd deck, so you could get coffee there or up in the Crows nest. The Oosterdam only had the Cafe up in the Crows nest which made the queues very long for most of the morning. I wonder is the Westerdam and Zuiderdam like the Noordam or the Oosterdam

  11. While I might have issues with the MDR anytime dining service ( another thread), I had no complaints about the food. Most nights I had numerous options of starters and mains that I would have liked to have, the food was consistently the right temperature and tasty, and portion sizes were reasonable. Some may be larger compared to others but a fish dish is usually smaller than a lamb shank for example. I would rate the MDR food overall to be good to great, for taste, variety and temperature control. The Lido on the other hand, while the variety was there, the quality and temperature was less consistent. I do expect a buffet to struggle somewhat with temperature control though. Some items were absolutely fantastic, like the crispy coconut prawns. I would rate the Lido food as average to good overall.
  12. Thanks, we are off to Egypt for a tour and cruise on the Nile.
  13. We recently cruised and received the tiles on the last dressy night.
  14. Once you have an prescription from an Australian doctor it should be good at any chemist anywhere in Australia (as long as they have it in stock).
  15. I would get your TA to chase it up then, they will have contacts directly.
  16. We use the bushman's, musch stronger and lasts longer.
  17. Sil flew Qantas to Santiago and Latam (Qantas code share) back, she said it was a markedly different flight in terms of service throughout the flight and the entertainment on the screens.
  18. I not sure of a work around, if there is one, i,.e, a medical note from a dr?
