We were in Coastal Kitchen in May on Allure and people were wearing shorts in there for dinner.

What people wear to dinner does not affect the quality of our vacation.

Yes, the Refresh package was actually a sale. (Back to the regular price LOL!) We always buy that package for my son and husband, but at the new pricing we were going to forgo it. We were able to book it for our next two cruises! Woo hoo!

And save a little on a couple of excursions.

If you go to RC's website and look on the main page under Royal Suite Class. You can look at the suites that you can book and the GS in the Oasis class shows the wall in the room and under the explanation of the room in small print is where it said this room would be available in May and June 2016.

Looks like it didn't happen! That is good, but it sounds like maybe they are thinking about it.

I would be interested in the answer to this question as well we will be in a grand suite on allure. I am wondering what they have for breakfast in the suite lounge? Buffet or sit down and order off menu?

We were on Allure in May and they had sit down breakfast in Coastal Kitchen and a little buffet in the SL. The sit down in CK was very good and we loved that we didn't have to fight the crowds in the WJ.

We never did try the Room Service even though that is one of the things I was looking forward to.

Kathie, I am assuming that if they put the wall in, that there would be the 2 tv's.

I am personally torn. The room is nice and big as it is on the Allure and Oasis. Just wondering if we would like the wall or not.

Did they change the GS on Allure to have the wall in between the bedroom and living room areas?

Just looking at floor plans for suites and on the GS for Oasis class ships it says these rooms ( the ones with the wall) will be available in May on Oasis and June on the Allure.

You can't use it for the teppanyaki though, correct? That is probably what we would do since our son has never experienced that before. ( I said that last time and then talked myself out of it because of the price! Lol!)

BTW, we just snagged a GS on Allure for that cruise after the New Year at a really great price the other day! That is our son's last week of vacation. So we will be sailing soon!

We are in the same predicament. Looking at a 10:20am flight so we can get home to the West Coast at a decent hour.

We are on the Allure in a GS disembarking on a Sunday. So if we take the earliest time with the concierge walk-off we should be fine? Barring any delays of clearing the ship, of course. We carry our own luggage off.

Last

cruise was our first trip to Cozumel. Had researched beach clubs. Since we don't really drink a lot, we decided not to do an all-inclusive. We also had our teenage son with us.

We ended up going to Paradise Beach. It was a $15 cab ride, $3 admission fee per person and they require that you spend $10 per person (as already mentioned) It was not hard to spend the $10. By the time we all had smoothies and nachos and DH and I shared a margarita, that pretty much took care of it.

It was nice, beach with loungers under trees, hammocks to lay in, a pier to walk out on and you could swim or snorkel off the end. They was a water park area with big inflatable things to climb, slide on/off. (That was an extra charge) I think there were jet skis to rent. They had a big pool area with lots of loungers, some in the shade, and a big bar area by the pool. Restrooms were clean.

My son and I walked down the beach past some nice homes and came upon Playa Mia just down the beach. We would go there again. Nice way to have a nice inexpensive beach day.

You are correct, they said the Starbucks kiosk was included, but that was only for a few days. Then they came to their senses and backed off of that. They found that it was much less confusing to include Starbucks, and it's against their corporate nature to make things less confusing.

Our son likes the flavored waters and smoothies. Just not so sure if it is worth it now.

Just to chime in about the CK. We had dinner there 4 times when we were on the Allure. It was very good and the service was excellent. They did serve Lobster on the night it was served in the MDR.

Breakfast there was very good and very relaxing. NO CROWDS! A great view and someone to serve you. No searching for a table! We really liked it. They also had a little buffet for a continental breakfast set up in the lounge area and my husband loved the coffee machine in there. Hope this helps!

That is, if they have the same set up on Harmony.

We booked our HOS cruise in May 2016 while we were on Allure for April 2018 but will need to move it to May 2018 when those dates come out. We are those crazy people too!
