  1. Neither of those are allowed in the pool. Tell an attendant and have them removed.

You have probably swam with a person with either a colostomy or ileostomy bag in a public pool and didn't know it. They have small ones for such purposes. You can't even tell they have them on.

People who have had these surgeries lead normal lives like everyone else. Please educate yourselves on the subject before making comments that aren't true.

Royal does not have a rule for people with ostomy bags.

Sorry, don't mean to interrupt the thread, but I had an ileostomy bag after a surgery before and it just makes me sad when people don't know their facts.

Edited to add, we don't use public hot tubs. Just seems to yucky.

  2. I just use shower to cool off with. Saw someone with a colostomy lid go into pool. Also adult diapers. No thanks.

As far as I know, only ileostomy patients can use the TIES system which has the lid. I am pretty sure people with these can swim as they shouldn't leak. Even people with regular colonoscopies and ileostomies can swim with a small ostomy bag on. It is sanitary, no leakage.

Now back to the doodie talk. So gross that this happens!

  3. I'm not sure how Owen is going to respond when we bring Little Ricky home on Saturday. LR is well behaved and loves to cruise, how could we not bring thim home?

Who knows, Owen might like having an older brother. Someone to blame things on? Lol!

But how will Little Ricky feel when you and Lisa need a break from the "kids" and you leave them both at home for another cruise?

  4. Okay, off topic, but are you doing a cruise to Alaska or a land tour, or both?

We just did our second cruise to Alaska. The first being round trip from Vancouver ( which is a really cool city if you have never been there!) The second leaving from Vancouver and ending in Seward, then we did a few days in Anchorage since you have to fly out from there anyway. Alaska is so beautiful! Whatever you do, have fun!!

Thanks for your review! So detailed!

Congrats on your wedding! How special to get married on Harmony!Looks like you guys had so much fun! Best wishes for your future together!!❤️[emoji898][emoji253]

  5. Don't be overwhelmed! You are in a suite which helps A LOT! The only show you would really need to make advance reservations for (as Bob said) is the comedy show. The rest of the shows have special sections for suites guests. You will need to get there about 20-30 mins before the show starts because they do open up the seating to anyone about 10-15 mins. before the show starts.

You can eat in Coastal Kitchen for all of your meals, but they are only served during certain hours. If you want an early dinner make reservations for CK when you board otherwise you will have a later seating time. If you want to try the MDR, they have a line for suite guests, just show your seapass and they will get you in quickly.

I would try at least one specialty restaurant. You can wait until you are onboard to book. Chops and Giovanni's are our favorites and you can do Giovanni's on boarding day or a sea day for lunch and it is less expensive.

Remember, the concierge is there to help you. They have always been great with any question or request that we have had.

I wouldn't do a drink package as you have all of the complimentary drinks in the suite lounge.

I hope this helps. Have a great time on your cruise!!![emoji846]

  6. We did a walking tour with Falmouth Heritage Tours. It was hot, but it was interesting. A good way to see the local way of life and learn some history.

We had two young ladies that were our guides. One at the front of the group that was the "main" guide that told you most of the information and one that brought up the back of the group to make sure everyone was together. You can find reviews on TripAdvisor.

  7. There have always been umbrellas in the containers when we have been on Oasis class, even when it was raining. Don't think it will be a problem. But like another poster said, just make sure you use the exit nearest to the restaurant you are going to.

Edited to say: it is open air, you are outside, so it can be humid if the weather is humid. And it will be wet as long as it is raining. Not to be sarcastic, just trying to help you understand.
