I think it would have been easier for Carnival just to go ahead and have a 10% off sale for everyone and call it a Labor day deal! But Carnival never typically does anything the easy way.
This can work also but I believe the minimum gift card purchase at Cherry on top is $100 which is about the price of the steakhouse for two people anyhow so it would work.
This is the easiest way but like Elaine said above I would think you could tie the three reservations to one table by asking at the venue earlier in the day, especially if it isn't the first night. You can still cancel the booking you made and do it this way. I didn't know they had that much OBC to use.
The old adage still applies--- when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Most out here booked cheers knowing full well it was an error and are now crying a river about the cancellation. I will get out my violin and play you a sad tune. Life goes on.
6232 is an 8J category cheaper than 6279. The room is standard balcony size so it is smaller interior than 6279 but the balcony will be twice the size of 6279 which is extended and 1.5 times longer.
If you are booking this far out try to snag room 6232 on the Spirit. You won't regret it! Triple length extended balcony and close to elevators(but you won't hear them).
They likely won't even look at your marriage license. They check for same first and middle name and date of birth when you have a different last name than your birth certificate. Just make sure your booking name matches your photo ID in this case driver license. You will be fine. Last but not least make sure it is a government issued birth certificate and not one issued by a hospital.
Not survive off the float, but entice more people into buying cheers with the discount code they are going to provide in lieu of the too good to be true one day price that everyone soaked up. But you are correct, it is probably just the usual incompetence of Carnival at work here.
That is a really good deal! I used the Capital One 23 dollar deal also a couple months ago. It took about 6 weeks to show up as a statement credit. I now have AARP until 2032 🤣
I am guessing Miracle cruises for April 2025 are next to be cancelled. My booking for a 9 day on April 6th 2025 has not shown up for booking for at least 3 weeks and this is after a scheduled dry dock for the miracle in Feb/March 2025.
There are still some good ones in the upcoming section. I had to slow down my point binge because I am now down to about 150k. I want to spread the small chance I have around a bit. It seems like the games have been a bit more generous lately in awarding points on the wheel and scratch off, at least for me. Now using points I probably got from Cabo Bob's sleuthing!
You won't regret it. If you have Capital One quicksilver they currently have a 23 dollar off offer for AARP. BofA also recently had and 8 dollar offer also with their cash rewards visa. There are a lot of discounts besides Carnival through AARP like Home Depot, Lowes, restaurants etc. I have paid for membership many times over.
On the sweepstakes. You can unload 10k at a time on some of them with 200 entries. I was at 700k points but I figure I might as well use them for what it's worth.
You are a brave soul for cards that are now yielding 6.25% for the 100's and 7% for the 500's that are mailed. Too much risk for me with mail and the low discount after shipping fees.
