  1. I guess so,I guess he is getting his info from another source other then Windy.com. That site shows Winds around Falkland Island around 21 mph currently. Been about those same speeds for the last 7 days or so. I hope you all still get to go there though, that was probably on a lot of people's bucket list.
  2. There is Serenade in the red circle. Makes you wonder why the Captain isn't just going to the Falkland Islands first as scheduled. You can clearly see that is where a lot of ships are right now. They have the Island surrounded. Then maybe the weather will clear so you can go to Ushuaia as scheduled after the Falkland Islands. There is no ships on the west side of South America where the seas(waves) and winds are terrible.
  3. We have Xfinity here in Virginia and the game is on channel 3095 Center Ice MSG New York Philadelphia Flyers did beat Vancouver 4-1 December 28th in Vancouver. That was the team I followed a little bit when we lived in NJ 3 years ago. Closest NHL Hockey team now is Carolina Hurricanes 2 and half hours away.
  4. I guess from living in the US, was always only 3 sports when growing up. Baseball, Football and Basketball. There was no ice rinks to play hockey on, only ice we ever saw was when growing up when the pond down the street would freeze hard enough to skate on for 4 or 5 days each winter. Other extra sport besides Hockey was Soccer, but that was during the same season at when I was playing Baseball growing up. Even the Hockey season now to me is just like a week or 2 before MLB season starts up, so hockey was never that big of deal for a young boy growing up on the East Coast of the US.
  5. Cowboys Game is on Fox Network at 4:30 Eastern time on Sunday The one Game ONLY on Peacock is the game on Saturday Night, Miami Dolphins at the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:00Pm Eastern
  6. https://www.windy.com/?37.073,-80.771,5 Trouble is due West of the Horn the Waves are just piling up for miles and miles.
  7. I would think the only option is to wait it out until the weather gets better and then take the trip around the Horn and head North. Just might mean they miss some of the ports between where they are now and LA. Will be whatever the Captain thinks is best to do.
  8. Going around the Horn sounds interesting later in the voyage. Waves are 15ft there now. Does the Captain have a short cut to avoid that?
  9. Correct didn't post that to offend anyone or to get a lesson at what age or why people start to have to take meds. But I guess that is where this thread went after my post. I'm not stupid I know people of all ages take meds for various reason. So sorry if I offended anyone.
  10. Again someone asking what something cost and not getting drilled about asking the price of something.
  11. How many planes did they fill for the Falls excursion if all the 700 full World Cruiser's where this excursion was included for free?
  12. Probably just a matter of time until they make the dock longer so they can have 4 ships there at a time.
  13. It's 2 completely different kinds of views of the water, much rather view the wake off the back then the side views of the ocean. Try deck 10 which is the overall best for views of wake, aqua show's, Tv screens, happenings on the boardwalk etc. Side balconies get none of that. But everyone is different. So pick any balcony cabin you like best.
  14. Aft Boardwalk balconies still have good views of the wake. That is what I wouldn't want to lose the chance to view.
  15. Are you now doing the Full WC. Thought I saw somewhere you were just doing 2 or the 4 legs. Did you now change your mind and now doing the full?
  16. Exactly, I don't watch any regular season hockey it's pretty much meaningless. Just about every team in the league makes the playoffs anyway. Hockey season starts April 17th.
  17. Their Best chances of seeing the Northern Lights won't come until August when they are in Iceland and Greenland. How come we aren't seeing any pictures of the IGUAZÚ FALLS ? on this thread yet? That was todays highlight wasn't it?
  18. Doesn't sound like it was a big deal, just like any other cruise ending and a new cruise starting. No one had to walk the plank 😉
  19. People in the class you are with also make it a lot of fun compared to some other times we have done it.
  20. Considering the ship is right here in the red circle at 10pm Eastern Time. I would say yes you will have a good chance seeing the launch at 2:18am on Monday if the launch goes as scheduled. I would think by 2am you would be within 100 miles of the Cape Canaveral
  21. Sounds like engine issues, have to travel slower.
