Yes, I like that thought. Bucket List cruise yes, just another Caribbean Cruise to add to your list. No way do the lights. We have been on so many Caribbean Cruises, the memories of them just all run together. If we never did another Caribbean Cruise, I wouldn't feel at all that we missed something.

Agree about the security lighting aspect. Robbers tend to rob an unlit house before messing with a house lit up properly. Non Holidays, you could just use the white lights to brighten things up for security. See what I mean, would you rob this house?

I say go for the lights, you will get a much longer enjoyment out of those for years and years then a 1 week cruise. Looks really neat!

What do you mean, they had these around too for our Greenland Cruise this past September on Jewel. Saw people actually using them on the RIB Boat tours, Not Royal's though, the excursion people had them for their customers.

The longer the cruise the more time there is to gamble later. The shorter the cruise, people feel they MUST get to the casino and gamble asap. It's addition for some.

@island lady What are you plans for Aruba? Was looking at the excursions offered by Royal and saw one called "Palm Beach at Night Transfer". Leaves at 5:30pm and returns to the ship at 9pm. Palm Beach is a resort area on the northern coast of Aruba, a Dutch Caribbean island. They have a lot of desserts are not like they are suppose to be. Royal specialty is not desserts. I pretty much think all of us can agree on that.

You could tip a dollar or 2 for a drink and make it worth while couldn't you? Bar tender would appreciate it.

Today when you were on I-77S and then took I-81N for a short time, then you got off I-81N at exit 81 to get back on I-77S. At that exit 81 on I-81N you was 8 miles from our house. Elkin, NC is about 1 hour from us where you are tonight.
