  1. Wife goes in gets a bottle, Neighbor goes in and gets a bottle, A friend goes in and gets a bottle. A guy pulls up in the Parking lot, he goes in and gets a bottle. Get the picture?
  2. I have pictures of the RR Diner somewhere with the large mountain behind it. The Private tour guide took us there during our port stop in Seattle. RR Diner now Twede's cafe I think are only about 5 miles from Snoqualmie Falls/ I probably have it on a SD Card somewhere. edit: HaHa Found it !
  3. Sounds neat, we went there on a private tour when we had a stop there in Seattle on a B2B Cruise Pacific Coastal/ Alaska Combo. We didn't have the time to hike it, but I can see where that would have been neat. Beautiful area. !
  4. @Husky1987 Looks like you got that roof on just in time before all that rain in Washington. Just how close to Washington's Snoqualmie Falls do you live? Usually this is just a peaceful water fall. Looks like Niagara Falls with all the rain you have had. Would be cool to see it in person if you live near by. We have been there, but never looked like this. https://weather.com/news/weather/video/snoqualmie-falls-rages-amid-pacific-northwest-flooding
  5. @KeksieMight help too to go with a counter depth refrigerator to if you can get by with that and have an additional fridge somewhere else. garage? What is currently on the floor, how will that be matched up with what is out in the living room area? Going to open concept is the way to go as you are doing. Will there be room for an island?
  6. Yankees gave up a lot of young talent for a 1 year rental. I'm betting he is on a new team in 2025. He likes to be in the spot light, He is going to be the highest paid player ever(more then Otani), just think he will get higher offers back in the National League( Cubs, Dodgers, San Fran) I'm glad he is out of the National League for at least this year. He is a hot dog, they way he takes pitches and kind of moves toward the pitcher. I love seeing him strike out. His defense isn't that good in the out field either. Possibly the short porch in Right Field might ruin his swing, he might become a bust this year.
  7. I guess there is a big difference then the Amtrak we went on, we had like 20 stops, there would be no way to have bags in a luggage car because most of the stops are only 2 or 3 minutes long. No weight limit on our train, they just said whatever you bring on the train you have to manage it yourself, there is no one on the train to help you either on or off the train. Took 8 hours and 30 minutes , about 500 miles, longest stop is a 1/2 hour in Washington when the switch the engine to electric from diesel. There is like 12 total cars, 1 business car, 1 cafe car, 10 coach cars and the Engine. So I guess yours was a nonstop to Orlando? to have a baggage car.
  8. No not at all, can't even see that house when we look out the front or the back of the house toward the mountain, no obstructions at all. A nice young couple are building the house, they are both pharmacist.
  9. I believe the guy most qualified of the bunch last night is the Santa Claus looking guy. Has much more experience then the rest of them.
  10. Where does the checked bags go on the train, in the car you are in or in a different car? It's to bad they charge so much for checked bags, otherwise it wouldn't be a bad deal. We can take the Amtrak train all the way from Roanoke, Va. to Newark, NJ for $79 and we can carry on as many bags as we like and there is no additional charge.
  11. It may become a real hassle, they may just say everyone just use the self service laundry service.
  12. Probably by the time the 1st quarter is done they will let everyone use the self service laundry once the laundry service on the ship can't handle doing all the wash and all the complaints about ruining people clothing in their hot washers and dryers. I mean this would be the first time every getting so much clothing from passengers on a ship ever. They have never been in this position before.
  13. Not sure that is exactly true or not, I believe now though they have twice as many cabins to take care of then before. There now is just less cabin stewards on a ship.
  14. Exactly, that's why they still get the tips no matter if you show up or not to supplement their tiny salaries.
  15. Spend some of your $$$, you know they have planes that fly from Canada to the States. 😉
