  4. Sunrise behind our house this morning and a drive over Draper mountain into Pulaski,Va where Calfee Park is located at. Beautiful day today but some weird clouds spotted overhead,almost like 2 different kinds of clouds in the sky.
  5. What is your time difference from the east coast compared to KC? is it 2 hours?
  6. Granted the inside and oceanview's prices on Grandeur are much cheaper then the other ships in Alaska's prices. But in the end you get what you pay for. Just wouldn't be a lot of people choices I would think.
  7. Didn't the OP says she can't even get a flight to the cruise? That must mean something doesn't it? If she can't get there how is she suppose to go on the cruise?
  8. Requested a extension cord for a Cpap Machine and distilled water. A gallon of distilled water showed up in cabin but never did see the extension cord. We did however carry an extension cord in our carry on and went through the scanners fine when boarding. No one said a word about it. I don't think they can tell, we had lap top, laptop power cord, usb cords , phone charging cords etc. They can't tell the difference.
  9. @Sea Dog Forgot to mention we also did the sushi class which was alot of fun. Everything you make you also get to eat. Started with this: And ended up with all this.
  10. Can work either way, most restaurants have no issue producing a $0 bill. But if it's more comfortable for you, yes go there on boarding day and tell them you are bringing an extra guest and using your BOGO.
  11. Tell Linda she can get either Beef or Chicken Teriyaki, she does not have to have sushi. Just have her order ala carte and she can enjoy the lunch with you. Doesn't matter if you just reserved for one. They only have tables for 2 so have her just go with you, I'm sure they can seat you both with no problem. We enjoyed Izumi last month on Jewel. We went 3 times. 🙂 So good!
  12. Just mean every cruise we ever been on don't board anywhere near 10am,all board between 11am and 12 noon......so why get there at 10am?
  13. Wow those balconies are like hanging over the pool, wonder how many people have jumped from there into the pool?
  14. If you get there at 10am or 11am, it won't matter you still won't get onboard until Royal is ready to board people for your ship. Boarding time will be closer to 12 noon then 10am anyway. What's good is you will board with all the Key members anyway, you will be sitting in a special section with all key members. When it's time to board you will go onto the ship with that group.
  15. What ship and what is the sailing date. Sometimes cabins open up before your sailing date, you could switch to another cabin in the same category for no charge. Just keep watching for available cabins and be on the ready to switch.
  16. Brilliance still seems up in the air they have secured some dates in Amsterdam also. So all this is speculation so far and I guess nothing has been decided yet.
