  1. Interesting! I guess I'll experience this next month.
  2. If your on an 11 day cruise your not considered B2B, so you will not have to leave the ship.
  3. Mashed Potatoes, French Fries, and Mac and Cheese and don't forget the Filet for lunch. Enjoy! Asparagus also YUK!
  4. I'm also sailing Solo but on the 5/14 cruise for 11 nights. I'll be visiting most of the bars on the ship, so we'll probably meet during the week. My wife will be in Bradenton working while I'll be cruising. She loves to work and I love cruising during my retirement.
  5. When we checked into YC in October we were told movies were free, but we were charged $4 for most. No problem, but even the Butler didn't know.
  6. The beach at YC is very rocky, but they do have good bar service and a small restaurant. We changed beaches on the way back to the ship and were much happier.
  7. On Royal's Transatlantics (14 days) they have Coffee cards for $36.00 for the cruise, which incudes 15 coffees. I believe NCL's coffee package is in the $230 plus for my future cruise. Very expensive.
  8. I have sailed only twice on NCL since they lost my records of 20-25 cruises from the 80's & 90's, so we only choose NCL when they have a good destination cruise. I enjoy good premium coffee in the morning, but it appears Starbucks will be our only choice. Is that true on NCL Sun and other NCL ships and coffees are not included in our drink packages? Is this a cost cutting scheme that NCL has instituted lately? Also I heard their Entertainment Budget was reduced substantially and some great shows have been cancelled. Our Panama Cruise on the Sun is not cheap, so what's going on with all the cost cutting? I understand the Covid shutdowns caused losses, but we cruised three times in 2021, Royal, Celebrity and MSC Yacht Club, and we didn't notice any extreme cost cutting. We also cruised four times in 2022, three transatlantics and a Med Cruise. We enjoyed all four without seeing drastic cost cutting, but all were not on NCL. What is happening with NCL Management? And why isn't premium coffee available at other locations on NCL ships other than the Starbucks Cafe?
  9. Just curious. I cruised on Norway at least 8 times and the Sunward, Starward, Skyward, Southward, ect. maybe a total of 20-25 cruises, but when NCL went Bankrupt they lost all my cruises and we had to start over in 2016 as first time cruisers.. Did you have the same experience as we did? We cruise mostly on Celebrity and Royal now because we are Elite Plus & Diamond Plus!
  10. Norway, Seaward, Starward, Skyward, and Sunward!
  11. When do you start your final checkin for your boarding time? 72 hours?
  12. My wife and I have 300 minutes each on a 15 day sailing, but I don't need any, so can she upgrade on day 1 02 using the 600 minutes for one internet account? How much would the upgrade cost? I'll be using my drink package while she'll be using the internet.
  13. We're cruising on NCL on Sunday and spending the night at Westin. How far is the cruise port from the Westin Hotel LB? Plan on taking UBER to the ship!
  14. I see you are childless. WE are too, so avoid cruises where they say children FREE! We take two TA's every year and very few children, so the ship is more peace full and less full! We also love Celebrity, but enjoy RCL, too.
  15. We take two TA's every year on our way to and from our second home in Thailand. We book over a year in advance to get our cabin, but not necessary. If a price drop, we cancel and rebook or they reduce the fare, We have changed ships before and booked within 90 days for a great price and normally something is available. I love Sea Days, so you should too, but the DW doesn't, but I ask her if she wants a 30 hour flight instead and she loves Seas Days, too!
  16. I agree! It is a better cut of beef maybe sirloin strip, but go on Celebrity and go to the Eden Garden for lunch. They slice Prime Rib sandwiches with or without the roll! Delicious! We were on the Edge!
  17. Yes, I also was joshing, but I didn't see the Imoji because I'm not up to date on the technology. I rarely carry a phone or send messages, so I let my wife do the communications!
  18. I always use the ATM Machine because I always Win!
  19. MDR no shirts without sleeves, flip flops a No No, but a nice pair of shorts is acceptable on casual nights, not grungy with a holy tank top! We cruise a lot on Royal and for the most part, the dress code is enforced on formal nights.
