  1. I would suggest when you get something like this from ny Company you don't open it and call your TA or "O" if booking direct. Be safe first.
  2. You asked😀life is to short not to enjoy it as you get older.
  3. Like I said, No--I enjoy being on a ship and just relaxing. I do have plenty of things to do at home and enjoy being at home with family and friends. Truth said I really love the home we live in, a lot of nature around being we live on a natural bird reserve. Best of all we live on a real Island in the middle of the desert that you have to go over a little bridge to get on the Island . What's not to like and enjoy...............Maybe that's why I like being on a ship---more water around you.
  4. No! Not at all😁It's just being on the same ship-you kind of know everything that's going to happen. Same restaurants, same table settings and so on--everything remains the same. So by going on a different line-things are just different. Each line has its strong points and weak points. Every so often "O" and the other lines we cruise do surprise us now and then....Staying home is just a no..............
  5. Whether you're old or not shouldn't matter. If you need a walker, cane or just walk slow--people just need to chill out and have a little manners. Things happen to people, so what if people have to wait a few minutes.
  6. I shouldn't have said "bored", it's more like I know what's going to happen. If food, the bar and every turn of the ship. I'm never bored when cruising, it's just once we cruise a lot on one line for a while - you just know what's going to happen, it can be good, but you know.
  7. I agree for the most part. I enjoy "O", but did get a little bored, and moved over to Regent for about 8 cruises, again got bored and slipped over to Silversea. For me Silversea after two cruises didn't hit the mark. So I'm back with "O', I REALLY ENJOY "O's" suites and service. Not so sure I cruise on NCL, but would take a Regent again to mix things up a bit. To me I've reach that age, touring isn't my thing--but relaxation is.
  8. If it happens, and what say about NCL--that would be great for Oceania cruisers. I know I would like to see it happen. After a while I just don't enjoy cruising on the same line, after awhile you kind of know what to expect -- Having 3 different lines would make it more interesting on a ship. Kind of mix it up a bit.
  9. I think that is smart thinking on "O"'s part. With adding the 3 together puts us must higher which would be nice. They can easily take Regents nights and convert them to cruises or vice aversa. Just get IT to set up a program and it's done. 👍👍👍 for the company if they do it.........
  10. If that happens (and it shouldn't) just tell your waiter slow, this is this evenings entertainment andI like to enjoy a slower service with space between courses. Thank you with a 😀.
  11. That won't work for excursions since you can't take food off the ship in most counties. Why would you take it to you cabin when you can order room service...........
  12. 👍😀So true-be the person you want to be.......
  13. Don't we all wish Oceania would have unlimited laundry. At least offer a full package for unlimited laundry.
  14. It really does👍, we have a trip to Bangkok coming up, using points for the hotel if you stay 3 nights you get one free-were staying 8 nights with 2 free, and the air UA flying business --we fly on Sunday, but Saturday is 100,000pp less, yes will be flying Sunday. It's all a game, that is fun and worth the time looking.😃
  15. The Mice: Funny after reading your post and my answer I just received this from Chase UA Quest card--😃👍and I'm working on a promotion with Chase Sapphire. Just to many offers you can't pass up. April 2,000 bonus miles May 2,000 bonus miles June 2,000 bonus miles 4,000 additional bonus miles Congrats. You've earned 2,000 bonus miles with the Months of Miles Promotion. Use your United QuestSM Card to spend at least $1,000 a month in both May and June.* Then you'll earn 2,000 bonus miles for each of these two months. Earn an additional 4,000-mile bonus if you reach the goal in all three months.
  16. Believe it or not I was one of United's early members and was one of a group (I was member #8) in the Marriott program. I retired on December 31st, 2007 and still have United miles from work, and I use them among others. I never pass up a good credit card bonus when offered. When Delta purchased PanAm, that was a win fall for me, I became a million milers and Deltas Lounge for life. When United purchased Continental those miles became United and that pushed me to become a lifetime Club member and top tier with them for life. Somehow the cruise lines never interest me to stick with one or two cruise lines. Alaska Air just had a super high award for their credit card with only a $5,000 spend--now we have two free RT tickets in first. Always keep an open eye out for a credit card deal. It's saved us a lot - and we fly Business unless we can get First. Since First is disappearing, Business works for us.
  17. Are you kidding, everyone should have an obsession👍 with points or miles. If you don't you (not you or me) are leaving money on the table. I'd hate to think about not having points or status in an airline and/or hotel program. 😃
  18. Really the food should be consistent though out the ship, since you don'y pay extra which is a plus for "O". But quality shouldn't be better than one restaurant over another, just the style of food served. We also like the size of the ships and the suites seen to be nicer too us on "O" for the price you pay.
  19. I have to admit we do look at the brochures we get from "O". Sometimes we see something we like and checkmate out on the website. However in all the years we've cruise we have never received a call from "O". We do use a TA for all cruises. Like a few we aren't a one line cruiser, we cruise the line that has what we want at that time. Have to say we do like the suites on the larger ship and the dinner choice's. One think that does bug me and it's a small thing, what's with the 3 bags of laundry - "O" shouldn't just bite the bullet and give included laundry at least to the named suites as a perk.
  20. They really don't have actives for children on the ship. The fact is it is rare to see children expect during the holiday's and maybe Alaska during the summer you may find a few kids.
  21. Last time we booked a class it didn't come as a tour and we paid for it. Maybe if the class is part of a tour that leaves the ship like a market tour.
  22. Actually I really love the chicken at Jacques and enjoy the night buffet with grill choices.
  23. Getting back to the food, "O" has to realize that food is right at the top when on a cruise. We all say location of ports, but you can pick any line to go some place. "O" needs to cook food with flavor and taste to keep people booking. We truly pick a cruise line foe were we want to go, but if they don't meet the the other requirements: Food, Service, Suites - we have more than one cruise to pick from no matter where we want to end up after the cruise.
  24. That was the indication from the poster. Even a little is better than nothing.
  25. Sounds like you're on your way to a wonderful cruise, so sit back and enjoy yourself. If you have time to write a short report about cruise, you know you'll have people interested follow your trip.
