  1. Benny, is your Greece cruise on a cruise line other than RCCL? If so, would you please post a link in this thread so we can find you. Also so I don’t forget to look 😱 I’d like to do a Greece/Med cruise at some point. For now it will have to be virtual. I’ll take what I can get.
  2. I loved your trip report! I’m already excited about our own upcoming Harmony cruise, but reading your report has knifed my excitement into overdrive. 😎🛳 After seeing your Flowrider pictures and videos, I think I know what will be on the Christmas lists of at least a few of your family members. Their very own Flowrider boards! 😎
  3. Since we’re in a JS on Harmony on our next cruise I guess I won’t bother bringing my Firestick. We don’t spend much time in the room watching TV anyway, but it sure would be nice to have a better selection of channels to watch when we do.
  4. I think you’re right about that for sure. I’m going to leave us in MTD for now. I can always adjust our dining times later if I want based on what the show schedule looks like once we’re on board. We tried MTD a few times before the pandemic and weren’t happy with the waits to get in so we switched to traditional late with no problem at all. Either way, we’ll be on a cruise ship 🛳 and as you’ve clearly shown us, we’ll have no problem finding something good to eat somewhere! 😋🤣
  5. That is scary to hear. I have some food allergies and let’s just say that my cruise would be pretty much ruined if I were given the wrong information and ended up eating something I shouldn’t be eating! Fortunately, I have always had excellent experiences with the dining staff. We’re normally traditional late diners, but moved to MTD when cruising resumed after the shutdown. We like to go to an earlier show, then dinner. With the low capacity on the ships, there weren’t many shows scheduled in the earlier time slots. While I’m a night owl, DH definitely is not. A late dinner and even later show doesn’t work well for him. MTD was a good solution to our scheduling needs. With everything I’m hearing now,, though, I’m wondering if we should move back to traditional late dining. 🤔
  6. I knew right from the start that the low capacity wouldn’t last. We were glad to get two cruises in before it started to go ! Waldo will be safe from being found in September - at least from me! We’ll be on Harmony the week before you board Symphony. 😀 We like CATS! Enjoyed your pictures from the show, also the AquaTheater show.
  7. @BennyBrun, when will you be at Coco Cay in September? I’m sure you must have mentioned it at some point. I can’t seem to keep track of all of your cruises. I’m just wondering if I’ll have a chance to find Waldo. 🤩 While I’m looking forward to being back on a ship again, you can count me among those who are not looking forward to the larger crowds. I’m very spoiled after being on Allure with only about 2200 pax on board. While that low capacity was wonderful while it lasted, it certainly doesn’t make for a sustainable business model. I’m sure we’ll still have a great cruise! 🛳
  8. Loved your walking tour of Nassau, Benny! That’s one way to get your exercise in without getting too far from the snacks! 😆🤣😋
  9. Thanks for doing this report, Benny! I’ve been following along, but by the time I finally catch up I tend to have forgotten everything I wanted to say. I do know that I wish they would add 😱 to the “like” button! I can’t tell you how many times while I’ve been reading your review that I’ve wanted to use it! 😱😱😱😂
  10. Great review, @ChristyLNDRN! Thank you very much for doing it. We’re on Harmony in September and we can hardly wait. We’re on an Eastern Caribbean itinerary but will be going to St Maarten where you went to St Kitts. We love sailing on Oasis class ships. For now, I’m thoroughly enjoying cruising virtually along with you and your extended family! Thanks for taking us along!
  11. @blue_water, thanks for mentioning that tokens “might” be needed for the ferry. I don’t recall hearing that mentioned before. I’ll have cash ready, but will plan to arrive early in case we need at go get tokens for the ferry. I’d have a grumpy DH if we missed the ferry because we didn’t get there in time to go get tokens if we need to.
  12. We has an excursion booked through Royal Caribbean to Paradise Point for our cruise in September that was cancelled a while back. I thought it might just be a problem between the cruise line and Paradise Point, so I contacted Paradise Point through their website to find out if they would, in fact, be open when we are in St Thomas. We would have just hopped in a taxi and gone over there. They replied back that they would be closed in September (hurricane season?) and reopening at some point in October. They did not tell me why they’re closing, I’m just guessing hurricane season..They also didn’t specify when they’re reopening in October since that wasn’t relevant to my question. You may want to check with them to see if they will be open when you’re there in October.
  13. @Ralphinsc, thank you very much! Just the information I’ve been looking for! I think I’ll be printing out your reply so I can have it readily available to refer to in my trip folder. We will probably rent a couple of chairs and an umbrella. We may get some drinks, maybe a snack, but I think we’d be more comfortable with a couple of loungers and an umbrella. We’ll bring our own snorkel 🤿 gear. I’ve had some great experiences snorkeling with turtles 🐢 in the past, but, at least in my world there can never be too many times snorkeling or diving with 🐢 turtles. 😀 I think Water Island will be just what we’re looking to do in St Thomas! 😎
  14. I’m afraid I missed out on your last report, but I’m here now for this one! I’ll definitely be following along. I’m not going to let the rest of my life get in the way of another virtual cruise! 😂
  15. No luck for me or DH this time - yet. I added a bunch of offers to each of our cards since they replace any offers you’ve added. Hoping the Royal Caribbean offer will show up. I do have all the other cruise related offers others mentioned on this thread, just not the one I need. 🤞🏻
  16. I knew that an offer would come up right after final payment was due for our September cruise! I checked multiple times daily leading up to final payment and nothing! Guess I’ll have to use it towards our cruise in April 2023! Every cloud really does have a silver lining! 😄🛳😎 Thanks for the info. I’d stopped looking after I made final payment on the September cruise.
  17. Thank you for all the info! Very helpful. Hope you and your family have a great cruise!
  18. Thanks for doing this review, Bill. I enjoyed cruising along with you again, even though my cruise was just a virtual one this time. 🛳
  19. Thanks for doing this review, Jessy. I’m enjoying following along with you! 😃🛳
  20. Thank you for posting your review and cabin tour video. I enjoyed both. I liked the cabin with it’s extra space and larger windows, but I’m afraid the noise that kept your GF awake would bother me, too.
  21. @Ralphinsc, are you still planning to go to Water Island? I’m thinking it would be a great option for us when we’re in St Thomas in mid September. If the port schedule I looked at is correct, we may be the only ship in town on our scheduled day, so it shouldn’t be too crowded. I know, of course, that the port schedule could change at any time so I’ll keep checking, but I’d love to hear about your experience there.
  22. Bill, when I saw that you’re cruising again in September, I thought it might be possible that our paths would cross again. Barry and I enjoyed meeting you and Gina back in 2019 on Symphony. I did a little searching and found that, unfortunately we will just miss each other in September. We’re cruising on Harmony the week before you’re cruising on Mariner. IIRC, it’s not going to be the first time that has happened.
  23. Bill, so glad to hear that you and Gina are finally back to cruising again! Sorry to hear about your bike accident. I hope you’ll be able to fully recover from it. I can’t wait to hear about Bermuda, and the rest of your cruise, so I’ll definitely be following along.
