  1. Yes, we were in Port Stanley this past March and went to Volunteer Point. Shaun, one of Patrick's long-time guides, took over the business. We have already booked him again for our return visit in December of 2024. One of the best tours ever!
  2. We always work the math on whether to book as one voyage or separate voyages. Since the start-up, we have found booking as one has been more financially advantages for us. Say hello to Ken for us, hope to see you guys onboard soon!
  3. On our July, Hawaii cruise on the Emerald, the cut-off for the MTG Luncheon was 585 sea days.
  4. On our April, 32-day, Buenos Aires to LA cruise (was also sold as two segments) on the Sapphire, we had 2 luncheons (one for each segment) and a cocktail party. This was the first time we had both on a cruise.
  5. We have also boarded in Barcelona many times. We will also be boarding there in November for our Med/TA on the Enchanted. The Barcelona terminal has always been very organized and timely. You'll have no problem knowing where to go, as they will be directing you from the time you enter the building. We tend to arrive after 12:00 to avoid any lines and usually just walk right onboard.
  6. We will be in Sydney for a week before boarding the Majestic Princess in April. We hope the test requirement is gone by then. As mentioned by @Thrak, it is easily faked by those wishing to skirt the rules.
  7. Same here, 7 future cruises booked, all fares are currently higher than the fare we had previously booked. Sometimes a "sale" is not really a "sale." Buyer Beware!
  8. Same here, app would not work with VPN.
  9. Even though we have a fantastic TA, I check fares directly on the Princess web site. If I find a reduction, I send an email to our TA.
  10. We leave the cable connected the entire cruise. Room Stewards have never had an issue with the cable. Btw, the hardest step of the process is plugging the HDMI cable to the back of the TV. There is not a lot of space to get your hand in there and I always need to use a flashlight.
  11. Great for you guys! We are a couple of years younger, but have the same disease! Our 7 booked cruises amount to 220 sea days!
  12. No, a lot of price reductions are for "new bookings" only. Pre-pandemic this was not the case. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Currently, we have only seen LG TV's in cabins, on Princess ships.
  14. We currently have 7 cruises booked thru 2025. I check prices several times a week. Last week, we saved $600 pp on one of our 2024 cruises.
  15. Below are the adapters we use to stream via the TV and the pop-up screens on the TV. With the below adapter, you can charge your device while streaming.
  16. And now a 5.0 earthquake near Ojai, 20 miles west of us! Shook the house pretty good. What else!
  17. We just had a 5.0 earthquake 20 miles west of us! What else are we going to have!!!
  18. Soap bars are a thing of the past. We prefer bars, so we always bring our own.
  19. We live an hour north of San Pedro, Western San Fernando Valley, no rain here. Maybe by noon time?
  20. I couldn't remember, but looking at the diagram looks like you have to go back to the elevators to cross to the other side.
  21. @wallyj We hope is all goes smoothly. For us in LA area, looks like Sunday afternoon and night will be the worst of the storm. 🤷‍♂️
  22. When booking a cruise on the Sapphire, we always try to book E731, mini-suite with the large covered & angled balcony. We have this cabin booked for the 32-day, April 2025, South Pacific voyage, roundtrip LA. We booked it the same day the itinerary was released.
