  1. For 6 people that is a great rate. Private tours are typically between $100-$150 and up per person.
  2. I live in Curaçao. If you are looking for a place with no rocks and a sandy bottom in the water, Renaissance is the place (this is a man made beach like area, salt water infinity pool, no snorkeling), it very nice. If you are looking for a real beach, then choose either Avila or Marriott, both are a bit rocky, but have good snorkeling.
  3. Yes, you can still use cash for the bus fare
  4. You literally had said that you had to take a cab to get across, which was incorrect.
  5. You can check with Avila, Marriott Beach Resort and Coredon Mangrove Beach Resort for a day pass. Or even the Renaissance right near the port
  6. Actually, there were busses (complimentary) available at the ferry station to take people to and from Punda/Otrobanda during this time.
  7. Cas Abou, Kokomo, Pirate's Bay, Blue Bay. I suggest checking into the Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort for a day pass, great snorkeling (typically) there.
  8. Honestly, go there first, snorkel and then your next location
  9. You can park near the church that is close and walk down the steps or try to park in the very limited parking area close to the beach. And parking is free at either
  10. They are available (as are taxis ) typically. The bus will take you back to the station on the Punda side.
  11. There are plenty of people around. I personally would feel safe .
  12. It's an easy walk and anyone in Punda can point you in the direction of the bus station. Yes, it's much less expensive than a taxi.
  13. Yes a lot to do, there is a Slavery Museum in Otrobanda, a Maritime Museum in Punda/Scharloo, shopping, restaurants, art. Do a free walking tour (look them up), Italian Ice Cart in Punda.
  14. Contact Advance Car Rental asap, they will meet you at the port.
  15. I recommend Afro Guide Curaçao (find him on Facebook) or Gone Caribe
  16. The World Voyager is a smaller ship and will be on the back of our harbor (not at the port). Our ports authorities here won't put up the schedule for February 2023 for a few months.
  17. The exchange rate to the USA dollar is $1.00 equals NAF 1.75 - 1.80 depending on where you exchange (it is not .59 NAF ).
  18. They definitely rent it. Here us their information so you can get prices https://www.bluebay-curacao.com/activities/diving
  19. I would arrange one prior to arrival
