Yes. Now traditional times are on various ships are 5 and 8 or 5:30 and 8:30. Too early and too late for us. 6:30 would be much better, This + a table for 2 and we would not need to have MTD.

We originally in 2007(?) started doing MTD because we wanted tables for 2. Times were good, but we wanted tables for two. Our son was rarely attending dinners and several times we had weird matches. We would go back to 6:30 Traditional if we had our table for 2. I am afraid many people now also want a table for two and this won't be possible. (Cultural changes... just like back then we all fought if jeans were not appropriate for Dining room and now it is shorts, not jeans)

Not sure. Anthem for example has 2 restaurants for MTD and 2 for Traditional. So it is never a case.

As we switched to RCI 100% in last 3 years ... but even before ... they prefer you to have the same table/waiters. We always use MTD and they try to have us at the same table ,time, waiters.

It’s also messed up. 5:30 is not a good time for traditional seating. It used to be at 6:30

It’s not in a form it exists today. I don’t want to eat at 5:30 or 8. Also we cruise for a long time … and we had mistakes in ordering earlier traditional time and getting later. It’s a mistake

What do you mean it was changed? It is not normal. Probably it was a mistake. Anyway, why have you not corrected it if you noticed this mistake? If you could not get this corrected .. this is My Time Dining, Show up at convenient time an you will be seated. Maybe you will need to stand in line, but still better than missing the show.

I think it’s good people want to spend it. Please don’t discourage.

On our very first cruise on Splendor out of Barcelona in 2004 we had pretty weak food (weaker than anything I had this year on Anthem, Enchantment or Liberty(2)) Same on Explorer in 2007 and 2009, 2010. We saw improvements from 2013 till pandemics … I think it goes up and down. Same we saw on other lines. We are completely fine with offered.

I’m happy they are making profit after 21 billions lost in 2020-2022!!! I don’t know private businesses which can survive without profit for too long. Of course there are cuts and price increases. We live at post pandemic inflationary world. I’d rather have this than not cruising at all. I’m sure Royal isn’t changing things to upset cruisers.
