  1. Go to the to the top deck at the bow. Pretend it is the Retreat Deck. It is the same deck that was converted to the “Retreat” deck on the other S class ships. The only thing missing may be the small bar. Get a drink at the Mast bar and take it up there. The only difference is you may have to share the deck with those very few that are there and may not be in a Retreat Cabin. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  2. I was told that the buffet isn’t allowed in the cruises sailing out of the USA if the floors are carpeted. It is considered a health issue. It is true that I was told that a few times. Is it the true reason? I don’t know. I was on Beyond and sitting at the Bar on the Retreat Deck. They wouldn’t allow people to sit there to eat their lunch. They said it is against the health laws. The year prior we could. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  3. Don’t be misled by those travel assistance insurance policies. All they do is make arrangements and you have to pay all of the expenses. They word and present it to make you think that they cover all of the costs for an emergency. They don’t cover anything except being the concierge. Years ago I belonged to the Moose. Every month I would get a letter for their Travel Assistant policy that would always have the same story about someone that used it. I called and asked if they covered the expenses. Answer: yes we make all of the arrangements. I asked if they paid for the air fare home? Answer: yes we make all of the arrangements. Do you pay for the medical bills? Answer: yes we make all of the arrangements and Etc. they kept dancing around the question by answering truthfully but in a misleading way. They never did say no we don’t pay for the expenses. Happy cruising. 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  4. Scent of a woman Any particular beer? Schlitz? No Schlitz Blatz? No Blatz Improvise Happy cruising 🌊🚢🌅🇺🇸
  5. I have never purchased the insurance thru the cruise line so don’t know if it is true or not but someone on this forum a while back mentioned that they were injured while on a island and the cruise insurance didn’t cover it because they weren’t on the ship when it happened. They were told that the insurance only covers them when on the ship. You may want to verify that. Also some insurance don’t cover any injuries due to at risk activities such as para sailing, zip line, and etc. I also use Allianz. I don’t care about the cost of the trip as that is money already spent. It is the catastrophic medical bills. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

  7. There are 1646 cabins on the Beyond. 198 are suites. Therefore 88% of the passengers don’t think so 🤷‍♂️🤗 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  8. I went to a bar and asked for the DOD. The BT didn’t know what it was and asked me to tell him. He said it is regular price. I later seen the CD and asked about the DOD and he told me that it is just a suggestion of what to drink, no special price. The worse drinks are those that are offered as sail away drinks. Servers walk around the area with a tray full glasses of the premade drink that is usually a form of a rum punch. Most times when you get one it is watered down because the ice has melted. If you play in the casino they will offer free drinks. I have also seen some specials on drinks that were made with a brand that was being promoted there. There are also various free liquor samplings in the duty free store. Good for a taste. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  9. We were recently in a suite on the Beyond. We didn’t spend much time in the Retreat Area. There are too many other options on the ship. One benefit of a suite is that it has a real balcony if that is important to you. We weren’t impressed with the food in Luminae. We were also in AQ a few times. We didn’t spend much time in the Thermal Spa. The loungers weren’t that comfortable and difficult to get into. The rooms were boring and senseless. A room with a crystal, or salt block??? Wouldnt go overboard on the move up bid. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  10. I hate those things. They are scratchy and difficult to get off. I have messed up some shirts by pulling them off as they pulled the threads. The laundry also takes its toll on elastic. Socks and underwear can’t take the abuse. Their laundry also makes my clothes shrink. 😱🙄🤷‍♂️🤗 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  11. I have heard some others mention this condition. My question is how can you feel what way the ship is sailing? Most times I can’t feel that it is moving. Serious question, If you were standing on a deck could you feel what way is forward? Sometimes I have a hard time knowing what way to walk to go to the front of the ship to get to the theater, or to the rear for the dining rooms. If so I need to get a better sense of feel. Thanks. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  12. There is an outside area by cafe Al Bacio with lounger and padded chairs. Good place to read outside. There is also a smoking area on the port side by Eden and also the outside tables and chairs for the Eden Cafe. Best is to walk around and find a place that has comfortable chairs and is in a quiet area. I see people sitting in the chairs near guest relations reading. The chairs that Kelly used are more for style and not function. Most aren’t comfortable to sit in. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  13. Let the boys sleep outside on the loungers in the Solarium or any open deck. People do it during the day time why not at night? Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  14. Veranda with the ultimate dining package. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  15. I haven’t seen it on our last cruises. I think it may be because there was too much cheating. Frequent cruisers knew the questions and would preplan their answers. Just stupid stuff like what size bra does your wife wear? How would I know. It all depends on the brand. Years ago my wife was a 32 DD. Today it could be EE, or FF. She still weights the same when we were married 55 years ago. Another. Is what color panties is your wife wearing. One very old couple both said none. Fixed. I never pay attention to what color she is wearing. Why would I??? Besides how could you prove if it was the correct answer? The most unusual place you had sex? What size would you say that your husband is? A VW, Lincoln … Same questions every cruise People would participate and sometimes only win a bottle of that cheap sparkling wine. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  16. No set dining time on the E class ships. It is all any time during their open hours Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  17. How would the other passengers know that you had a status match? 🤷‍♂️ Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  18. I can’t believe that that glass is still there. I put it there when on our last cruise in March. The crew must think it is part of the ship’s artwork. 😱🤣🤗 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  19. If you are interest in a better category and many are available you should upgrade and not rely on a move up. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  20. I wouldn’t pay extra for AQ if I wanted to dine in the MDR. We were in a few AQ cabins on the E class and it was mostly for Blu. We went their version of the Persian Garden and wasn’t impressed used it only 1 time per cruise. The heated loungers weren’t comfortable, hard to access and get into and the rooms were very boring and almost senseless. Sitting in a room with a crystal, or one with a block of salt? Get an aft cabin with a real balcony and you can have a hot humid sauna with the salt air when sitting on it. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  21. I had kidney stones. My doctor told me that I should drink a few beers everyday to help avoid them. Took his advice. Tried to have him write a prescription for the beer to have it covered by the drug plan. I now have liver issues but no kidney stones. 😱🙄🤗 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  22. I wonder how long before they are being sold on Flea Bay https://www.ebay.ca/itm/186226906576?_nkw=celebrity+cruises+zenith+pin&itmmeta=01J6CJQ93EYMHB6BPRPP76JKWK&hash=item2b5bfd15d0:g:j6gAAOSwO7pljMgl&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAABAHoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKkoLeM%2FEv5WPxbzZey5SZ8Ykkf3bgihmbdDxaKiN7hUT3drimUEUFIu5rE8Vj1t4vuUWbY8Qj3EmbF3dpI1KRws%2B%2F2f%2FUesrKXE4Wsv4t1V1ev6y%2F0WleZndTqbdm8ohhvr7nXDZMOXDhRo6JzPgXCWcSOJOo5I8PUiP8tUi%2Fa7RWEss9ecyfBDQjcgfb3L3PQPffvY5TKjE3%2FO5xD92tryhBZzzIXr3sAki%2FLCfXRBIHmdWMd%2F7HJy%2FjoKW%2FSeAX2ipKthPkKKY11PC2TasUN2NXvV56AnATc8nXDR%2By6qGRUEq66UTDJUEAWnqFXTwew%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-aR3ZKzZA Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  23. Celebrity reads the forums. Policies have changed because people have been giving tips about beating the system. 2 that come to mind is only one person in a cabin getting the drink pack and then the other is only one person upgrading to the premium. Now both have to purchase the same. Passengers have done that. Will it change? Probably won’t because it is involving 2 different cruises and keeping track would be create more problems than it is worth. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  24. You are correct. It is not advisable to try and sneak something off of the ship. My experience was walking off with a cup of coffee from Cafe al Bacio. The security guard at the checkout station told me that it wasn’t allowed off of the ship. In most ports the regulations will be posted in the daily paper. Even though you may not have to go thru customs in the ports that you are visiting I have seen guards with dogs hanging around. The dogs can sniff out banned items. ‘ When in doubt don’t do it. There are always stores, or restaurants available if you need to eat or drink something when off of the ship. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
  25. As you can see from the previous posts showing the menu it isn’t really anything special, but it is nice to be able to sit down, relax and be served, instead of the self serve in the buffet, but service can be very slow. A nice touch but wouldn’t pay extra for the Concierge Cabin just for that. We had it for doing a B2B. The next time we did a B2B we went to the buffet because we were the “first in line”. We were able to get a table and be first into the hog troughs before the other passengers got there. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
