Anyone currently on Voyager? We board next Sunday for B2B2B. Not sure if the new menus have shown up on that ship yet. The menu on my app shows the old menu.

Oh no...that's not good either! We did try the MDR one night on our 4 week Wonder cruise a couple of months ago. The service was good, but we were seated next to a family with 3 screaming (and uncontrolled) young boys. Did not go back. We kept to CK the rest of the cruise, except for one attempt at Chops (total fail). Actually it's not really the food in CK, which most times we find to be edible for us...it's the quieter and more relaxed experience we appreciate. When we book a ship that has CK, we are GS and above. Otherwise the JS on the smaller ships, with having dinner in the MDR works for us.

Bummer. As I said...hit and miss. Obviously you had a miss...with a bad waiter. 😞 We had a wonderful wait staff team on both Serenade last month, and Jewel this month for both B2Bs. They bent over backwards to give us good service. No complaints there. I guess we got lucky with "hits". Yes, we had some good servings, some "eh", and a few bad (which I simply did not eat). Waiter immediately offered to replace, but I declined. I was on the "new menu tasting adventure". 😉

Indeed, they were not even trying to hide it. Wonder how bad it is when they are out to sea? 😮

Hit and miss.....but usually, with so many food allergies...they will go to check on it for you.

I was very surprised at Liberty, which was docked next to us while on Jewel last week in Nassau. There were several pax openly smoking on their balcony, plus laundry hung out on a couple of them. One complete with long clothes line. I guess anything goes on that ship.

Totally agree...and is the reason land based restaurants post "fish of the day". Which is why I think RCI is calling it "white fish"...never knowing what they will be able to obtain when restock day comes. The fish mongers are at the mercy of whatever the fisherman can pull in daily. As long as it does not taste fishy (not fresh fish)...I am good with that. 😉 And just because it's frozen...does not make it old fish either, unless they either froze it too late, or when defrosted....left it out too long.

Just ask your waiter...simple.

I was surprised...since we usually love Jewel. Our experience on Serenade the week before for B2B was much better. Would have thought the other way around. Though I am very happy Serenade is doing well....since we have a bit longer stint on board the sweet little ship coming up in December. 😉 We are back on Jewel end of next month for another B2B...will be interesting to see if things have changed....or......

No worries. We cruised on that day a few years ago. The parade is later in the day, when most have already boarded the ship. The great thing was watching it as we did sail away.....wow...so many little boats everywhere, and a great vantage point to the festivities. 🙂

That is what is showing for my Voyager sailing a week from today. Hmmm is right.

I thought the same thing the last time I had them. A salad and a double portion of the little tasty tacos...good enough for me. 😉

Agree there...but very disappointed with the condition of that outside area on Jewel. Not being cleaned much back there, with dirty tables (only taking the plates, not wiping the table) and spilled food, napkins, etc. all over the floor. Had to go find a crew member to ask for a rag to wipe the only table we could find. Was never cleaned from breakfast when we went there for lunch. The usual dirty dish/cleaning station was not even present in it's usual place in the center of the back area...only on the sides. Serenade the month before was on top of it at all times. Not sure why Jewel is different.

Agree there. Had hits and misses. Fortunately...most were hits. I liked the "what's old is new again" items. The Asian pork tacos are definitely one of my favorites. The really new one for me was the smoked salmon salad (I think it was at lunch?)....very good. 🙂

Will be interesting to see if Voyager has gone to the new menus. We board on the 29th for B2B2B. 🙂

I used to love 150....back when they had the Caesar salad prep at the table, the flavored sea salts, slicing the tenderloin for two at the table...etc. The service and the food were wonderful! Now...IMHO...meh. Lackluster food and lousy service. Better service in the MDR actually. Not impressed with Chops for dinner now either...but love it for breakfast! 🙂 Giovanni's has become our new go to specialty restaurant lately.
