  1. We love breakfast at Johnny Rockets. Never too crowded and good food. (Sucks if it's raining LOL)
  2. We do too, and we have three cruises booked with X. However, we are going on Oasis though in 2025 with family of all ages which is what Oasis class is good at. So, my take is that one is not necessarily "better" than the other. It all depends on what you like and want. At our age, we love Celebrity more than RCL, but we still sail RCL.
  3. Agree. We haven't been on Voyager in many years but we didn't care for it way back then either. We were on Mariner for Bermuda for our first cruise after Covid and it was still in great shape. Same class and only 4 years newer but big difference.
  4. They have a nice hot tub at Margaritaville right there at the port!! 🙂
  5. Yes, the 40% off is good compared to the usual 15% off offering. We are cruising on Beyond on Dec 22 and we initially booked our excursions at 15% then re-booked them at 45% off when they had a sale. So book now if there is an opening. You can always re-book if the price goes down. Of course excursions by 3rd parties are often less expensive than the sale prices of ship sponsored tours.
  6. Why would anyone want to watch TV while on a cruise? Just sayin'...... 🙂 Edit: BTW, I wasn't trying to be snarky. Just trying to inject a little levity. Having said that, I do like to read a book or watch a show on my tablet in the evening while lying in bed. I usually stay up about an hour longer than Sallie, so it helps. We have Amazon Prime and there are movies and TV shows you can download to your tablet. I'll download a few for the cruise. Not much on the ships TV but we do watch the news while getting ready to go out to dinner in the evening.
  7. Are you trying to eliminate all the threads!??
  8. That's an opinion. We sail both. We like some ships on both and dislike some ships on both. Depends what you're looking for on a cruise as to whether one is "better" than another. My take (opinion): RCL has better entertainment, Celebrity has better food and itineraries. (although food seems to be getting worse on all lines if you believe all the threads...)
  9. In Wisconsin, where I grew up, the whole family sat at the bar. LOL
  10. I heard they were near the bar. Now that's special. 🙂
  11. Don't the teens have "The Living Room" which was designed for that purpose?
  12. I know you didn't ask but I just wanted to let you know that the Harmony does not have a pool in the solarium. I think it's the only RCL ship that doesn't have one. Instead, they put this rain "thingy" in there that didn't work when we sailed Harmony in December. I don't know what they were thinking.
  13. I wonder if that was a "one-off"? I have read so many positive things about the Tampa cruise port. We've never been there but have a Connie cruise this coming March. I hope whatever the problem was has since been corrected.
  14. RCL had 'em too. Here from 2014 on Adventure of the Seas out of Puerto Rico in 2014:
  15. Do you have a link to those? Thanks
  16. The brand that's used on the ends are much better looking since there isn't a power button showing.
  17. Cheap from Dollar tree. Only $1.25. You can even throw them away at that price. Work great.
  18. Correct. Clip from the deck plans on RCL website.
  19. I think this is the best explanation. I can imagine 20 or 30 magnetic hooks twisting and turning into odd shapes on an xray machine. LOL
  20. I loved the drink of the day in the 90's on Royal for $1.95. Also, Bloody Mary's and Screw Drivers were $1.95 all day every day.
  21. Me too but for some reason the image printed on it seems a little distorted....
  22. Also, on some ships, the aft cabins can be prone to vibration and shaking from the propellers. It happened to us once on a Radiance class ship on RCL so we've never booked them again.
