  1. You might look at that Celebrity website because blue chip club has an FAQ entry there
  2. There’s a very large thread on this topic now
  3. Are you sure you are on the right board?
  4. No, infinite verandahs do not have balconies. They have windows that open.
  5. You are mistaken. There are no one-way cruises which begin on one US port and end in Alaska. There are one-way cruises which start in Vancouver, or which end there, but the PVSA only applies to cruises which begin and end in US ports.
  6. Yes no and maybe. Sometimes there are random state offers. Open to residence of North Carolina or North Dakota or somewhere else. Could save you $50 or $100. It doesn’t hurt to click on them and see what happens
  7. I have never seen Mast Grill open late at night
  8. If you are coming to Celebrity from Royal, you may be familiar with a place called the diamond lounge. Celebrity does not have such a dedicated space. Instead, elite members can order drinks from the elite menu at most bars throughout the ship, from five to seven. This has replaced a system where the sky lounge (and before that Michael’s Club) was reserved for the exclusive use of Elite members between five and seven. Now you can go to nearly any bar and order from the following menu or one similar to it. If you have a beverage package, this may be of no interest to you but if you don’t have a package, enjoy these.
  9. It’s going to cost you $65 per person to find out. That’s the fee for the paperwork involved in a downline disembarkation. It will be denied and you won’t get the $65 back.
  10. Yes, the answer is you cannot do that route. If you tried to leave with your luggage in San Diego you would certainly be stopped. There is a large fine for violating the PVSA.
  11. The OP is not asking about RCL in Copenhagen, and I am not sure that information would be relevant to Celebrity in Barcelona
  12. You may surmise that you caught the virus on the ship, but because you were off the ship while you gathered your luggage and went to your car, you had other avenues of exposure
  13. There are parts of the website which have not been updated. It’s a sad state of affairs but that’s what happens at Celebrity. It is two bottles per person on embarkation day.
  14. Five adults? Or two adults and three children?
  15. The Captains Club one category upgrade does not apply to guarantee bookings
  16. November or December if they chose to offer it at all
  17. I certainly hope that there will be a new PUP opportunity soon. Let’s get this train back on track
  18. No one ever know ahead of time. Could be one point, three points, five points.
  19. There is no elite lounge. From 5 to 7 PM every night except embarkation night (and perhaps one other if there is a special event party) you can order drinks from the Captain’s Club menu at nearly every bar. Not restaurants, just bars.
  20. No, they will not put it on a ship board account because there is no shipboard account for that person if they don’t show up. They would put the taxes, fees, and port charges back onto the original credit card used
