Couple of observations vis-a-vie the Radiance. 1 Capt Merrick joined just before the canal crossing. Said he works for 4 months then is off 4 months. 2 Maintenance things I saw were coffee machine in diamond lounge hasn't worked for a month, water has gotten into several windows in the Solarium, carpet is worn but replacement appeared to be stored on board, roof leaks into the Jammer, one of the soft serve machine does not work but the other does, our cabin only had hot to warm water but she is in better shape than the Jewel was when we were on her last year. With exception of the ceiling leak in the Jammer all of these other things are minor. 3 Shows were good, we were on for 16 days and missed a few stops because of hurricane so they had to scramble to get some shows in so the crew filled in and were fantastic. Hope that answers some questions.

Okay I have spent the day mulling this over. I thought "lie" was bit over-the-top but that is just his way of starting the conversation. This what my wife did when she encountered the same thing several cruises ago. She went out and bought a box of half and half with individual servings. Problem solved but we do wonder what else what we might be missing.

Yes!! Some hotels will allow parking but check their prices. Miami is not cheap. We like to stay at the Hilton Blue Lagoon and leave the car there. They will bring you to the port but will not come and pick you up once the cruise is over.

ONLY park at the port!!!!! Off site is usually a part of a parking garage and they are not monitored. I have heard some pretty bad stories about this. Miami is different than any other port for parking that I am aware of.

Check in times are a product of covid. Spreads people out evenly so as to get as little contact as possible. But the muster is all on the app now so that's a positive.

We just walked up to Giovanni's on the last night of our transatlantic and got in with no problem. Never made a reservation.

Just got our second block on Odyssey, one old style and one the new style. Funny thing the LA told us that the old style is still preferred over the new style. We wanted the new one and she said we are in the minority.

First cruise was on the NCL's SS Norway. Berthed right behind it in POM was a brand new sparking white beauty the Sovereign of the Seas, next year we told each other. After 3 sailing on her I was sold as my favorite. In fact my DW purchased a print of her that hangs in our house. Love the tween deck, a short deck of cabins between 5 and 6. and all the lounges were aft with the Windjammer forward. Then Oasis came out so we have been on each and we both believe Allure is the favorite because the Diamond lounge is still on deck 11 with a rather decent view of the Boardwalk and there is no rotting intestines hanging from the back deck down to the Boardwalk!!

We're gonna need to find a bigger boat!!!!!!!!!
