Kiwi Kruzer Posted December 17, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted December 17, 2013 A nice sunset from Pacific Princess as she heads across the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale after her season in the Med. She then does a cruise "up the Amazon" , before heading down this way in Jan/Feb.
Rare MicCanberra Posted December 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 17, 2013 I noticed that the ferry like boat is at white bay again. I wonder what it does, like which area it provides service to.:D

Rare MicCanberra Posted December 18, 2013 #9 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Unlucky to miss the fjords in beautiful sunshine. :D BTW, why is it labelled bridge cam / wedding cam?
cruiselover53 Posted December 18, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Unlucky to miss the fjords in beautiful sunshine. :DBTW, why is it labelled bridge cam / wedding cam? If you click on "wedding cam" you get a lovely shot of the wedding chapel which most Princess ships seem to have.

Rare MicCanberra Posted December 20, 2013 #15 Share Posted December 20, 2013 The cruise ship Orion dwarfed at Queens Wharf Thanks for posting the pics, I didn't realise it was so small. Sun Princess in Bay of Islands. You can just make out a tender heading back to the ship on the LH side of the pic. Yes, a lovely place for a visit, the ship looks like it is moored a long way out.:D
Kiwi Kruzer Posted December 20, 2013 Author #16 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Yes, a lovely place for a visit, the ship looks like it is moored a long way out.:D It looks a long way from the pic , but its only about a 10 minute tender ride. The ships used to come a lot further in , but many years ago when one pulled up its anchor , it also pulled up the electrical cable and cut most of Northland off till they fixed it. The spot where you see the ship is now the official anchorage for cruise ships in the Bay of Islands..:)
Sandielle Posted December 20, 2013 #17 Share Posted December 20, 2013 David, that's the first cam shot I think I've seen of Wineglass Bay (top of this page). They appear to get pretty close to land. :)

Kiwi Kruzer Posted December 22, 2013 Author #25 Share Posted December 22, 2013 Santas extra sleigh??? Heres an unusual one.You dont often see other ships in bridge cam shots especially when they are at sea. Heres one from the busy Caribbean...being all red it looks like Santa has called on the help of shipping with an extra sleigh which is heading for Florida with all the goodies on board..:D:D
