Movies on the Equinox?

Because sometimes you want some downtime at the end of the day or night, or you have kids who want to relax, because you don't often have a chance in your "regular" life to watch a whole movie uninterrupted, there are tons of reasons. Why are you making a judgmental comment? If you don't know the answer to what movies are being shown, just move on

I do not mean this to be picking on you but am asking it as a general question, If one is on a cruise, why would one spend it sitting in the stateroom watching movies? Can't figure out why.

DON

Because vacations are meant to be enjoyed in whatever way suites you. As long as it doesn't impact other's enjoyment, what is the issue?

Why spend it in the casino? In the gym? Broiling in the sun? Everyone experiences their cruise in a unique way.

Sometimes it's nice to just sit and do nothing.

Regardless of whiners, the movies change. We would watch some, sometimes pieces at a time, but were worthwhile. Great way to spend nap time. I'm glad others want to go 25/7. My cruises are to do what I want, when I want. Caught some movies I hadn't seen.

If one is naturally born with a delicious carmel color one may not feel the need to sit in the sun for 10 hours. And if one doesn't always feel the need to be with the crowd one might want to step away and enjoy a movie or enjoy ones balcony.

A bunch of SMA's...

You get 20 movie titles, most are the same as you see in the theater.

For some people they do not know how to turn off business, when on a trip, so what movies are there. do not change for good few months at a clip. Since this is the Net. maybe people who ben on will check back in, if they desire?

In the evening after dinner we like to get a cocktail and retire to our room to watch a movie together. My wife's work is demanding and she spends most evenings doing paperwork which prevent her from following a good movie.

The song and dance shows are kind of been there done that for us, we don't gamble and the smaller venue shows can get crowded.

Plus what better way to watch a movie than with room service??

We even bring a hard drive with our own dvds burned to it and use a media player to play them back on the stateroom TV.

Happy Cruising y'all!
