Anoop was the Concierge on the Escape Jan 27 cruise.

I believe I read that their annual conference is this week, and assistant CDs are filling in on the ships. I don’t know where it takes place.

We were told on the Dawn last week that the regular cruise director was in a conference in Las Vegas (which seems like an oddly landlocked place for cruise directors, but I suspect flights and hotels were cheaper)...

They probably want to get as far away from water as possible.

The Cruise Directors' Conference was held in Tampa at a Norwegian facility.

Sure hope they keep Tyler as CD on the Escape out of NYC to Bermuda. He was a blast on our Escape cruise last May! He has so much energy! Kept me laughing the entire cruise. Some people didn't care for him, but I loved his sense of humor!

I guess I keep missing all these "very long discussions" because they seem to keep disappearing every time the name Tyler is brought up.

I definitely agree with you. Of all my NCL cruises, he was the GOAT.

Diana Petre is either maitre d' or assistant maitre d' (sorry I forget which) in the Haven restaurant and is a wonderful person.

Sean Wurmhoeringer, HD on the Bliss.

Sean is Corporate now. Jovo from The Escape is the Opening Hotel Director for The Bliss. Several Opening Senior Staff members from The Escape will open The Bliss.

And now someone posted that Mark Maeling shared that he’s moving to the Bliss for the launch. Are we up to 3?

Nelson is great! He took us all to Teppanyaki for dinner and then into the ice bar on our last cruise!

Taking you to Teppanyaki and then to Ice Bar makes him great - really - I would never judge someone who gives me something free out of his employers pocket.

We had Prem and Ruth on BA and not impressed. We've also had Virginia and not impressed although she does seem to get lots of praise.

Ruth and Prem on the BA ?what year was that.
