DaveFr Posted June 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2018 We like Cafe de L’Academia in the Gothic. Not open on weekends but is open for lunch and dinner during the week.

LoonCall Posted June 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 8, 2018 Would appreciate some suggestions of some restaurants in Barcelona, does not have to be pricey but enjoyed by you Depends on what you are looking for and your location but a couple of suggestions: L'Olive - great Sunday lunch, lovely atmosphere and we were the only "tourists" there, always a good sign to me. Quality was very good as was service so can assume dinner would be same. Michelin stars? - Moments at the MO. Fabulous tasting menu. Mont Bar - contemporary tapas. Very intimate space with some outside seating
Linda VH Posted June 9, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2018 There is a wonderful restaurant on the top of a mountain with a great panoramic view. It is called Mirabe. We were just there on May 14 - wonderful!
Rare RachelG Posted June 9, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 9, 2018 Go to La Boquiria market on Las Ramblas, and walk all the way through. At the back is an outstanding restaurant with every thing totally fresh, given proximity to the market, and not expensive. It is a regular stop on every visit to Barcelona. Wendy The Wanderer Posted June 10, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 10, 2018 We loved La Bouqueria as well, although I guess I'd forgotten there's a restaurant there. Let's hope I get back there so I can try it!
