Price drop after final payment

I know this has been asked, but my search yielded older answers.....

I just made final payment March 13th. Just found a price drop of 200 per room.

Can I get anything other then a shot at upgraded room?

Although you made your final payment, when is the final payment for your sailing?

Yes, it is based on Royal 's final payment date. (Not when you make the payment)

To clarify, Royals final date was March 13th. I paid March 6th.

No, you can't get anything but look to see if a higher category has come down in price enough to making upgrading worth it. You may want to wait some more - some price drops are followed by others.

Just make sure it is not a fare that is 'new bookings only.' I believe that you cannot upgrade to those fares.

I usually start these conversations by saying to the agent,,, Before we start, you should probably grab a couple of tissues, because I am about to tell you a very sad story.. that gets them laughing and on your side..

But it looks like this ship sailed for me. I have two connecting balconies and an upgrade would not work.

I got the 330 price drop back on Feb 1st. I just looked and saw it dropped another 200. That discovery lead me to start this thread to find out if I could get this drop too. But based on the]answers, I am happy with the 330, would have been more happy with another 200, but it appears that I don't get it, so no looking back and checking anymore.
