My son Fraser, the army captain, had the honour of marching alongside the Royal Armoured Corps Veterans on Sunday at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

He said that is was a most moving experience but at the same time gave him an immense feeling of pride.

Thanks go the the veterans that marched, but also to the spectators for their support and sentiments.

Natuarally our thanks and appreciation also go to those who didn't march.

Yesterday in NYC there were over 600,000 people watching, cheering & supporting our troops ...all along Fifth Avenue......If only the Vets could of made a left on Fifth ave & 48 Street & then boarded a Cunard ship for a Trans Atlantic crossing...can you imagine the Pub!!!!!

Thanks also to Cunard for their continued military onboard credit program and for extending it to cover just about all veterans (US, UK Canada, Australia, NZ). The program summary uses the word "retired" but the fine print shows that most honorably discharged veterans will qualify.

Well said. It's very good of Cunard to offer something tangible.

Celebrating Life Today!

Today is My Father's Second Year Celebrating Veteran's Day in Heaven.

We Miss Him very much and Hope to one day rejoin him in Heaven.

He was a very dedicated cruiser on many ships and many lines.

So happy many ships in the past had Reunions of Veteran's on a cruises to have veterans over a drink or cordials to rehash their experiences.

Being a Veteran was a special honor he enjoyed.

Happy Veteran's Day to all still with us and also to those that have departed from this life..
