regarding pools on a cruise ship

It is filtered----clear as freshwater, tho. Until you're in it, you won't know it's salt-water. There's a freshwater shower on deck, so you can rinse the salt water off, before you sun. (Otherwise, you tend to get a film of dried salt on you!!!)

:p I remember the first cruise I took. I couldn't wait to jump in the crystal clear water. YIKES! A mouth full of salt water caught me completely off guard! Then of course, the water was freezing as well and we couldn't hardly stand to be in it.
