Anyone ever see anything bad on a cruise?

Last cruise, I saw one of the maintenance crew being totally brow beaten by his superior up on the Lido deck. I don't know what the poor guy did, but his boss yelled on and on! I thought it was uncalled for, in public anyway.:o

Thank God there is laws about that kind of stuff here in the US.....That supervisor might have needed to take a little swim....lol

Before I met my wife, she was on a cruise when a crew member that was mentally-ill took a hammer or something to one of the engines and proceeded to beat it out of commission. She said they had to come back from Cozumel at 1/2 speed and were a day late.

As I said, it must have been a heck of a hammer. Look at the size of the people on the ground next to this ship engine:

Seeing a drunk guy fall down a flight of stairs. Luckily the ship's physician was around the corner. Having the guy look up at the Doc and proceed to cuss him out. Watching the Doc walk off saying I dont have to treat you.

Seeing the same drunk guy several hours later in his boxers at the Guest Services desk because he had locked himself out of his room.

I woke up one morning, stretched, put on my robe and slippers, walked out onto the balcony, and.........................we were in the same port we left from!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

This happened to my parents. Apparently there was a medical emergency, so back to San Diego they went. They ended up skipping one of the planned ports.

on my cruise last may, eaaaaarly in the morning they started paging a passengers name over and over over in the public areas and hallways. by early morning they were paging all over the ship and inside staterooms. by the time we had docked they were searching the ship and staterooms and going door to door with a photo of the passenger asking if anyone had seen her.

we got off the ship for our excursion and they were still paging the passenger. when we got back on, we heard that they found the passenger, passed out in a lounge chair up on deck. i've forgotten her name now, but for months afterwards i remembered it :)

Aside from bad behavior, I haven't really seen anything.

On a Princess cruise, the first night, there was a Code "something" that was being called a few hours before dinner... and someone was airlifted off the ship while we were eating during the early seating.

The Captain never told anyone what happened... I figured, since it was my first Princess cruise, that one of the geri's (geriatrics) on board must've had a medical emergency.

That same cruise, my wife was rudely told by a crabby old guy that my son should learn to "deal with" his juvenile macular degeneration when we sat in the second row of the main show to compensate for his partial vision.

So... for me... bad behavior has been the only exciting thing I've seen on any ship.

I think we were on the same cruise!!! But we heard they found her in another guy's room - not the guy she came with. Someone saw them rolling her out of the room in a wheelchair with IVs attached!!!!

So you were a whole day late back to port? Wow! I hope everybody tipped that guy extra:D

A lady beat another lady with her purse for allegedly cutting in line.
\

I didnt cut in line ! SHE was behind me in line trying to cut in front of ME, as I was picking up my belongings- she did not want to wait.

So the purse beater was the cutter hitting (me) the cutee.. Can people not read ?

my grilfriend and I were in the casino and this old man ( around 60ish ) kept harrassing us saying we were georgous and kept saying nice heiny(used a different word though) to us. Finally I got tired and said to him.. Does your wife have a nice one too..we left and met up with our spouses at the piano bar. We were sitting next to an older lady who was ripped. She was going on about how handsome her husband was and how young girls were constantly hitting on him. She then says I will kick the ehh hmm out of any young harlot that tries to take my man. Who should walk up but her husband ( the pervert who kept hitting on us all night)! My girlfriend and I burst out laughing, with this she said you tramps are trying to take away my husband she gets up and goes to hit my girlfriend but with her swing, her body swung around and she fell.

They stumbled out of the area, and there friends that were with them apologized to us and said the gentleman was a known cheater and has cheated on her 6 times throughout the marriage and according to him it was always because girls would throw themselves at him.

That was the funniest and worst thing I have ever seen on a cruise all rolled into one

Just a drunk, argumentive passenger on RCI. Funny, because those that are wedded to RCI think Carnival passengers are the drunks ones. In 6 cruises, the woman on RCI is the only one I've seen being that unruly and sick.

But of course, the worst thing I've ever seen on a cruise is our returning to homeport! It's terrible that they make us get off and go home.
