Anyone ever see anything bad on a cruise?

The worst we saw (uncomfortable) was this letcherous older dude (probably middle 50's, well kept, tan, slender but wearing skimpy bathing suit) kept schmoozing the young girls at the pool .. . he was just plain obnoxious and intrusive; The Little Woman asked one of the girls if they knew him/was his presence wanted -- they all replied NO, he was being a letch/pest. The Little Woman assumed her best Disapproving Mom Stink-Eye and planted herself between him and his prey. He finally got the hint and left in a huff -- the girls (probably 19-20) thanked her profusely and gave her hugs for her efforts. We later saw Mr. Cool schmoozing a pretty 30-something at one of the bars .. . she tossed down about three drinks, thanked him, and left him sitting there all alone and blue. Almost felt sorry for him . . . almost, but not quite.

This happened to my parents. Apparently there was a medical emergency, so back to San Diego they went. They ended up skipping one of the planned ports.

I'm pretty sure amc80 meant that the cruise was over - and we all know that's a BAD thing!!

my grilfriend and I were in the casino and this old man ( around 60ish ) kept harrassing us saying we were georgous and kept saying nice heiny(used a different word though) to us. Finally I got tired and said to him.. Does your wife have a nice one too..we left and met up with our spouses at the piano bar. We were sitting next to an older lady who was ripped. She was going on about how handsome her husband was and how young girls were constantly hitting on him. She then says I will kick the ehh hmm out of any young harlot that tries to take my man. Who should walk up but her husband ( the pervert who kept hitting on us all night)! My girlfriend and I burst out laughing, with this she said you tramps are trying to take away my husband she gets up and goes to hit my girlfriend but with her swing, her body swung around and she fell.

They stumbled out of the area, and there friends that were with them apologized to us and said the gentleman was a known cheater and has cheated on her 6 times throughout the marriage and according to him it was always because girls would throw themselves at him.

That was the funniest and worst thing I have ever seen on a cruise all rolled into one

*LOL*

That is funny

Long before we met , My DW and a girlfriend went on vacation together.

One day they were at the pool laying out and this older guy (late 60s early 70s) sits over next to them and strikes up a conversation. He seemed like a sweet old guy so they chatted with him.

Pretty soon the conversation started getting weird. Similar comments about their bodies, wanted to knwo if they were ever strippers, have they ever had a threesome. DW and her friend started getting creeped out so they left.

Next morning they are walking through the lobby of the hotel and walk by one of the big conference/banquet rooms. the room is full of people and there is a man speaking at a podium up front.

The room was full of people for some "Marriage Enrichment Seminar" and guess who the man at the podium was Yep ....their "friend" from the pool. *LOL*

Here was this guy with his arm around his wife of 45 years spouting off about trust and communication and honesty and fidelity.

DW's friend wanted so bad to go up to the guy and say something, but DW felt bad for the wife especially in front of a room full of people.

I guess it takes all kinds

We had two code Blue Star's on our trip last week on the Miracle. Two heart attacks:(, one in McGuires Sports Pub on the first full day of the cruise and one on the 2nd full day. Ran into relatives of the guy on the second day, and thank God he was doing well:). Not sure about the guy in the first day. Funny though, we were in the sports bar watching the football game a half hour before code Blue Star was announced. Hope the guy made it.

One of the people in our group was in the sports bar when he colapsed and from what she said they werent able to help him. They tried and didnt give up and gave everyone the preception that he was goin to be ok but the lady in our grop thought otherwise from watching the whole ordeal. We later found out that Unfortunately for him and his family he didnt make it. We heard from the bartender that his family got off the ship in st marteen and headed home for arrangements and he stayed on the ship until we got back to fort Lauderdale. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

This was not something that was bad to see on a cruise... although some ladies really should have kept their shirts on. Last February we sailed on the Conquest. While in Cozumel we were docked next to the Triumph. We were hanging out on our balcony during their sail away. Saw a lot of TaTa's that day. Several women flashed the people on the Conquest as the Triumph left port. We got to see a couple of bum's too. :)

Several years ago in San Juan, we were in line on an elevated walkway trying to get back aboard our ship when several people started pointing to one of the outside cabins. An older, rather large woman was getting ready for early dinner and apparently didn't realize the curtains weren't drawn. When she leaned over to do something and in the process mooned us, several of us giggled while others shreiked!

"youtube." there is a video for just about anything you could imagine happening on a cruise ship. good or bad. be careful of some of the bad videos. if you have never cruised they may make you think twice. just remember that cruisin is safe and the videos they show are rare.some of them vary rare.

Well, last March our Captain was airlifted off the ship after suffering a heart attack. It was awful at the time - found out later he was going home and doing well. (Thank God!) Another person was airlifted about an hour later..what a day.

A couple of years back, we were sailing on Celebrity, and docked right across the pier from a Carnival ship. We were at dinner, with the big glass windows facing the Carnival ship, when we started to back away from the pier. All of a sudden a bunch of college age guys aboard the Carnival ship mooned the entire dining room. What a HOOT that was. Just funny, and not crude enough to ruin our fantastic Celebrity meal. :D

We dedicate a section on each of our cruise movies that we make to thongs and speedos gone wrong. Most are found on sea days up on Lido. Makes for a GREAT laugh. Our past cruise on Liberty, we caught a cougar (older lady) in the pool who could pop and eye out with her silocone. She was wearing a strapless top and from where the waterline was on her chest she looked completely TOPLESS. The photos we got went great during our part in the movie where the lyrics of the song were..."I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts!!" LOL:D

A man squeezed on our elevator in one of those motorized chairs. He was a big guy wearing shorts is all I know. I did see a couple of strange looks on a couple of peoples faces and after we got off my DH said something was "out" that shouldn't have been. I did not even notice, for which I'm glad.

I can't believe I'm relating this story.

As for thongs and speedos, I saw a cute greeting card the other day. A rather large couple walking off on the beach with the caption..'Two thongs don't make a right'.

A very drunk lady was dancing on the dance floor in front of a full room that was enjoying the guitar player/singer. She was trying to dance with everyone's husband. Didn't care about the wife, she just stepped right on in and tried to get all frisky with the men.

She proceeded to dance wildly. She was wearing a summer dress with no bra, and her boob kept on popping out and she just laughed an kept on flashing us!

We were wondering if she was going to remember and be embarrased the next day but every time we saw her she was drunk!

A lady in the family of four that was sitting at the table with my wife and I were enjoying dinner one night. As the meal progress the lady excused herself as she was feeling sick. About a minute later she returned to the table and proceeded to vomit on her plate:eek: in front of us:( It was rather gross but the wait staff was wonderful in helping her out.

I wish she would have vomited outside the dining room...

Turns out she had a food allergy and someone screwed up in the kitchen...

I prefer to never experience it again!!!

On our last cruise while on deck 0 waiting to get off the ship in Antigua, a woman got off the elevator and started screaming for security. A crewmember asked if she needed any help and she said (slurred) that she needed security to come to her room. The crewmember went over to security then came back and asked the woman what she needed security for. She said that they cut off her alcohol card and she needed a drink before she went into detox. At that point we were headed off the ship so we don't know what happened after that.

On my last cruise, DD and I were grossed out by one of the "living large" group. This guy - on our floor - needed a scooter to get around the ship. because he was so large. He was way younger than my 50 years.

One night we saw him trying to get into his room. He was so large that he could not walk straight through the door. He had to go sideways and PUSH his stomach in - to get through the door!
