Have any announcements been made yet about what changes will be made to the Magic following input from the Dream?

I think I heard they r changing some kinda of sewer system so tht bad smell everyone is complaining about won't be around and I think in July the are changing it around on the Dream but I could be wrong since I read it from someone else on here

If you look at the Carnival website, you can see the deck plan for the Magic, so fundamental changes like that (walls, basic design) won't be changed. I would venture that they are looking at the issue of odor, however, and will try to make some modifications if they have figured out what is causing it. Probably vents/pipes in the right places or something.

I hear they are attempting to get rid of the smell by rotating a fresh group of passengers in every week. :p:rolleyes::D

Inaddition to the rerouting of the grey water vent, it appears that some of the public areas are slightly difernet. The Cloud 9 Spa has been reconfigured; gym, for example, takes up the front of the ship on deck 12 versus going down the port side. With cabins on deck 12 and the spa all on deck 13, the sun deck and th eserenity deck on deck 14, sky, versus 13 and 14. Steakhouse is on the Promenade Deck and the ocean Plaza area looks different in set up witht he casino coming after the shops. Dining areas and galley are on the Lobby Deck.

But these are still "plans" and we won't know until the ship is finished what the exact layout will look like. I'm sure there'll be changes from these first sets.

Funny, Kelz. Ha, ha, ha. :D I read a post yesterday from someone who said they would never cruise again (first cruise on Dream), and they mentioned a combination of sewer gas, passenger BO, food smells, and sunscreen on the Lido Deck.

If that's true then perhaps the outdoor movie screen should be replaced by a similarly-sized box of Arm & Hammer baking soda for odor absorption! :D

Blinders are needed for the hairy man contest.

Nose plugs for the smells.

Ear plugs for the blaring speakers during morning announcements on the big screen.

Hmmmm, think I'll drive to Walgreens, drop a few bucks and pretend I'm back on the ship!
