Cold refreshing hand towels at Coco Cay

Last week when retuning from Coco Cay, just after we went through security to get back to the ship, we were handed an iced cold hand towel to wipe your face and hands. There was a towel deposit bin before getting on the tender.

 

What a nice practice. I hope it is extended to other ships, or other ports.

 

Is this new – or were we lucky?

They were giving out the cold towels on our Explorer cruise back in May. I know Celebrity has been doing it for years.

I've been to Coco Cay many times, and haven't seen this. I think it is a great idea, and hope it is continued.

We've been parked next to other cruise line ships and have seen them take towels out of coolers for their returning guests and wondered why RCI didn't do this. It can't be that expensive for the amount of goodwill it creates. I'm glad to hear this is happening, especially since I'll be going to Coco Cay soon! :D

What a great idea! I've been to Coco Cay many times & never was given a cool towel...guess I need to book another cruise there to check it out!:D

HAL does this as well...and on particularly hot days we have also been given cold water to drink.:D

Wow, how nice!!! I have never seen that before being done there. That is a really nice touch and I hope they keep doing it.

We've never had that on an RCI ship - Princess and Azamara both do it, so I hope RCI is catching up to the competition on that one.
