Queen Mary 2 delay

We did also have an incident when the Assessment team were called and it was later announced by the Commodore that there had been a leak of chemicals in the laundry dry cleaning equipment. As this information was given to us, perhaps the 'technical fault' was just that and too technical for most of us to understand.

The 3 incidents were dealt with calmly and very little fuss- as one would expect.

As we had very calm seas, these were the only bits of drama or excitement.;)

Yes it would have been good to meet. I found that everyone was very friendly and we had some lovely chats with people from various places- that's what we enjoyed.

Re the laundry issue, I was in the Book Club discussion at the time and Gaynor, the librarian, listened attentively and then said that we may get interrupted but would carry on until. You could see that the 'Assessment Party' announcement was taken very seriously, as one would expect, and as already pointed out re the dining room incident.

It's amazing, how relaxed you feel onboard and then back at home -
