It's intresting to see the ships don't always tie up with the starboard side to the wharf, but they usually do.

Interesting - made me go back an check on our past voyages and ports.

 

I made it roughly 45% port and 55% starboard over 38 years. :p;)

It does tie up starboard side on almost every occassion but will sometimes tie up port side (and I"m a cruise cam junkie;)). Always been starboard when I've been there.

 

On our recent cruise, we tied up starboard side at Noumea & it usually ties up port side there:).
