It's intresting to see the ships don't always tie up with the starboard side to the wharf, but they usually do.

Interesting - made me go back an check on our past voyages and ports.

 

I made it roughly 45% port and 55% starboard over 38 years. :p;)

I have cruised to Vila 8 times on 5 different ships between 2000 and 2008.

Tied up to wharf starboard side everytime.

It all depends on which side of the ship , needs the windows being cleaned most:D:D

We always seem to get Stb to as well. Never the Port side.

It does tie up starboard side on almost every occassion but will sometimes tie up port side (and I"m a cruise cam junkie;)). Always been starboard when I've been there.

 

On our recent cruise, we tied up starboard side at Noumea & it usually ties up port side there:).
