What happened on the Oasis this morning?

This morning at 3:30 a.m., I heard an announcement for a passenger to contact Guest Service immediately. Then again, at 3:45 a second announcement asking for a passenger from Deck 17 to contact Guest Services urgently. Then about 10 minutes later there was some serious running down deck 12 port hallway, and then again about 2 minutes later. I got up and looked out from my balcony to see what the heck was going on, but nothing appeared to be happening.

 

Anybody in the know??

Probably, someone was missing someone from their party.....perhaps they didn't come back to the cabin when they said they would....who knows?

The same thing happened when we were on the Serenade a few years ago. It turned out a couple of kids were missing, but then turned up later. It happens. This may be something similar, who knows.

Clearly, no one HERE "knows", but the "missing teen who didn't come back to her/his parents' cabin last night" is the likeliest explanation.

On the mariner, the staff captain. Woke up the ship a sixteen year old was missing, to call guest services, five minutes later an announcement was made the kid was found.

If they were on the ship at 3:30 this morning then chances are they are not still on the ship unless they were doing a B2B.

I think we were docked back in FLL at 3:30am on Saturday when we were on Oasis. Not that that makes any difference.

I guess it shall remain a mystery....we weren't at the dock that I know because I got up and had a look outside....they did say a name, but I won't repeat it here for obvious reasons....so my guess is that if there is no news from others and no missing person, then the individual likely was located and they all lived happily ever after...maybe!! ;)

Did you hear about the cook that died on the cruise?? It is on the news in miami. He was found dead in his cabin, have not determined how or why.
