paul929207 Posted February 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2011 On Princess it is $1 or $1.50 per load to wash and the same to dry. Machines take US quarters. They have change machines in the laundry room and thePurser's Desk will also make change.

tak81288 Posted February 17, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2011 That means your underware will be touched by others' for sure, if you want to buy on board laundry service?:( Yes, but I wouldn't give them underwear to wash! I always bring way more underwear then I think I will ever need. Utilize the onboard laundry services for things like shorts, t-shirts ...etc...and bring extra underwear. It really doesn't take up too much room.
6rugrats Posted February 17, 2011 #13 Share Posted February 17, 2011 That means your underware will be touched by others' for sure, if you want to buy on board laundry service?:( Not sure why you would care, but if that's a problem for you, bring enough so you don't need them washed, or hand wash in the sink. GlendaleCruiser Posted February 19, 2011 #15 Share Posted February 19, 2011 Most Carnival ships have self-service laundry room. That lets me take 1/2 the clothes I normally would and do laundry on a sea day or late at night one night. Washing machine is $1.50 and so is dryer (I think??). Or is it $3 each? US Quarters only. We got them from the purser or the casino. I bring Purex all in one sheets by putting a few of them in a zip lock bag so they take up NO room in the suitcase and no worries about spillage. They are fragrance free so I don't have to worry about what soaps might be available in the machines ($1.50. I expect the Magic to be like the Dream in that respect.
