39august Posted February 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2011 For what it is worth, Chris at the D+ desk confirmed to me today that the red wine/white wine choices on "preferences" are the Alice White individual bottles such as those sold in the WJ. Those bottles I believe are about 2 glasses of wine. We shall see when we embark on Serenade Feb. 26.

I had read several posts that reported the Alice White bottles for this gift, but then I read another post that reported La Terre. Hopefully the La Terre was an anomoly. Looking forward to hearing about your experience after you return. Bob

LovesCruising Posted February 16, 2011 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2011 I am normally a Pino Grigo person - however the Alice White Chardannay is excellent!!

passion?cruising Posted February 16, 2011 #8 Share Posted February 16, 2011 1. Have you ever had La Terre? 2. What do you think of it? Now, let us know what you think of the Alice. :) I've had La Terre quite often, it's fine. Not on the high end for sure, but definitly drinkable. I actually tried it first at Ruby Tuesdays restaurant, it's their house wine.

Not a high end wine, but eminently swillable.:)

amickeyfriend Posted February 16, 2011 #12 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Just got back from 2 weeks on the Liberty. DH ordered water and I asked for wine. The first week we both got water. Second week was correct with what we ordered. Not a big deal - Think they are just getting used to the new program.
Bonnie Voyager Posted February 16, 2011 #13 Share Posted February 16, 2011 1. Have you ever had La Terre? 2. What do you think of it? Now, let us know what you think of the Alice. :) Another unsolicited opinion for you... I am no wine connoisseur, but I have had "La Terre" Chardonnay, and for me it was somewhat nasty. On the other hand, I rather enjoy "Alice White" and have been known to request it on occasion. :D

39august Posted February 16, 2011 Author #15 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Carol, I am a big white wine drinker. I have ordered the D'zante pinot grigio for our D+ amenity. I enjoy Alice White chard and often buy it at home. Le Terre is drinkable, but I certainly prefer the Alice.
kimberley Posted February 16, 2011 #16 Share Posted February 16, 2011 Is the white wine chilled? Rhonda I think you will have to pop it in the ice bucket. Kimberley
