Grandad Posted April 1, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Can anyone tell me whether drinking water is provided with meals on Eclipse, or do we have to buy bottled water? Thanks very much.
1timecruzer Posted April 1, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2011 On Summit, they served cooled tapwater every evening for no charge. Don't know about Eclipse though.

Rare ghstudio Posted April 1, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2011 Can anyone tell me whether drinking water is provided with meals on Eclipse, or do we have to buy bottled water? Thanks very much. One of the perks that every Celebrity passenger gets, irrespective of how many cruises they have done with Celebrity, is a free glass of water (with free refills) at every meal including buffets. Rare cruisestitch Posted April 1, 2011 #5 Share Posted April 1, 2011 This just in.......starting April 1, 2011, tap water will no longer be free at meals. Buy a tap water package just to be safe.

cb at sea Posted April 2, 2011 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Ice water is available everywhere, at every eating venue and bar....no need to buy any sort of "water" package!
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 2, 2011 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2011 That's ok -- the tap water package is only available on April 1 of each year.
Holly2 Posted April 2, 2011 #10 Share Posted April 2, 2011 No joke. We couldn't automatically get a pitcher of water on Equinox the way we always had on other ships. Was told not available on S class.
GITC Posted April 2, 2011 #11 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Water, do you know what fish do in it? Nice, thanks for the laugh out loud moment, jcrandle. Well done. :D
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 2, 2011 #12 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Back to being serious -- it's April 2 -- but yes, it is correct that water pitchers are not in the rooms on S Class ships as they are on M class ships.
KirkNC Posted April 2, 2011 #13 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Did you know that most of the water served is desalinated right on board the ship? The only time they buy water is when they can't keep up with demand. Kirk
miched Posted April 2, 2011 #14 Share Posted April 2, 2011 One of the perks that every Celebrity passenger gets, irrespective of how many cruises they have done with Celebrity, is a free glass of water (with free refills) at every meal including buffets. Do they charge extra for ice? Some started another thread about being able to bring ice on board. :D
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 2, 2011 #15 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Yes there are pay-per-use ice machines on every deck now. No, wait, April Fools Day was yesterday, guess I'll have to save that idea for next year.
