Can anyone tell me whether drinking water is provided with meals on Eclipse, or do we have to buy bottled water? Thanks very much.

On Summit, they served cooled tapwater every evening for no charge. Don't know about Eclipse though.

One of the perks that every Celebrity passenger gets, irrespective of how many cruises they have done with Celebrity, is a free glass of water (with free refills) at every meal including buffets.

This just in.......starting April 1, 2011, tap water will no longer be free at meals. Buy a tap water package just to be safe.

Ice water is available everywhere, at every eating venue and bar....no need to buy any sort of "water" package!

That's ok -- the tap water package is only available on April 1 of each year.

No joke. We couldn't automatically get a pitcher of water on Equinox the way we always had on other ships. Was told not available on S class.

Back to being serious -- it's April 2 -- but yes, it is correct that water pitchers are not in the rooms on S Class ships as they are on M class ships.

Did you know that most of the water served is desalinated right on board the ship? The only time they buy water is when they can't keep up with demand.

Yes there are pay-per-use ice machines on every deck now. No, wait, April Fools Day was yesterday, guess I'll have to save that idea for next year.
