Are there any "pet friendly" cruise lines around?

Not really. I think its the Queen Mary? that you can pay to take your pet along (in a cage, not in your cabin even), but none else allows pets.

Queen Mary has kennels for pets only on Transatlantic voyages. EM

And the pets aren't allowed to leave the kennel area.

 

OP, how would a cruise ship handle a lot of pets? Where would they go to the bathroom? Who's supposed to clean it up? How could other passengers with allergies handle this? As you can see, there are too many problems that could not be addressed on a cruise ship. That's why pets aren't allowed.

Only Cunard allows pets other than service animals. And I think that is only in the kennel area on transatlantics.

Gawd -- the day cruise lines start letting people bring their darling yapping ankle biters is the day I STOP cruising!

I remember when you had to put your pet in a carrier in the luggage hold of a plane. Now they can ride up front with you in your seats. Imagine those with allergies - must be horrendous for them. :(

Hutt, back to your question. The only cruise line that I am aware of that takes pets on board would be cunard with their dog kennel.
