I have to say your reviews just keep getting better and better. Good luck topping this one! Thanks for your hard work and info. :)

Those 22 weeks will be over before you know it, then a lifetime of love, fun and pride begins, emotions I can't even put down in here. I remember when my daughter was maybe 2 weeks old. My friend came over and looked at me looking at my baby and my friend said.. "doesn't your heart burst with love?" Trust me.. it's a good feeling :D :D Best wishes to you and your wife on your upcoming bionicbabyboy's birth.

Your review was lots of fun to follow, the pictures are great! (I've followed other reviews of yours too). They are fantastic and help pass the time while waiting for my next cruise.

CONGRATULATIONS on your sweet little baby boy. Looks like Mama is happy and doing well.

We cruised before baby was a year old, and my best advise is to book a room adjacent to the stairwell/landing, where they have a little sitting area. Every nap/nighttime we put him to sleep and took the baby monitor to the lounge. I could see the door to the room AND hear into the room, so I was completely sure he was safe, but I wasn't trapped in the room (dark & alone-- or sunburning on the balcony) While in the lounge area the party continued playing cards & board games with friends/family.

Congratulations!

Okay so bionic baby would be over the 6 month period in June of 2012, a great cruising month I might add (our favorite family cruising month!) How about a family Bermuda cruise?:D;)

Thanks :) Never been to Bermuda!

Just finished reading your entire review, wow !! Really enjoyed it and especially loved all the food photos, so yummy!! Glad to see someone besides myself is onto carbs and sugar :)

Thanks:). Carbs + Sugar = Great Cruise

Congratulations!!

Loved your review!!

thanks :)

Hi Curtis.....I have been out of town for 3 weeks and didnt get a chance to continue reading your review. So glad I finished it..it was great ! We were on the same sailing and being much older that you,we were not quite as active. Mixed emotions about seeing some stuff that we missed.

Interesting to see you and your wife are "hooked" on Angry Birds......I am now on the newest edition.

Congrats on the baby boy ! I hope you will be keeping us all up to date on the progress.

Thanks for taking so much time to write the review and post all the wonderful photos.

Day 1 - Muster or Mustard

So on the way down in the car with the first time cruisers, we had the mandatory "Why do they call it a Mustard drill?". So of course, we say "no, it's a muster drill?". Which begs the question "Why do they call it a muster drill?"

Our best guess was that "muster" was like "to muster the strength to do something" so we figure it must mean "to gather". So I guess its a "gathering drill"

WOW! What a review!!

I don't know what to comment on first!

We just returned from the Radiance Panama Canal cruise April 30- May 15 Tampa to SD. Just being home 2 weeks this is the first chance I've had to actually sit and read this from the start!

Loved all your pictures, I don't think you missed a thing!

Curtis your pictures from Colon Panama, train to the canal are better than ours and we went through the canal!!!

I guess pictures from the outside looking in are better than being in the canal. No matter where I was on the ship, I couldn't quite capture it like you did! Although the experience was awesome and this was our second crossing, so I got to view it differently this time with a better camera and a video camera.

Your underwater pictures are incredible!

OMG...the food!!! I've gained 5 pounds from the pictures alone!

Your life is about to change in so many ways, I couldn't help but laugh to myself that you and your soon to be newborn son will be on the same eating schedule, every 3 hours!! :p :D

We were on the Jewel last year for its repo from Boston to FLL, so all the ships pictures were a wonderful reminder of the jewel. There were a few things I never saw on our 13 day cruise!

If you think you pack a lot now for a cruise, just wait till you have to pack for the little guy!! You will really need a bigger trunk space so I definitely see a bigger car in your future! ;)

Congratulations to you and Mrs Curtis on the baby and to the new home! It's a wonderful life!!

Thank you for a superb review!!!

Thanks :) We really debated for a long time on what to do for the Panama Canal (train vs ship in the canal). I am happy with the train decision, but I think if we go back we will try the ship for something different.

It's been almost two months now and I miss the food and my 3 hour eating schedule! ;)

That sloth looks SO happy! Seriously!!!!!

The sloth was so funny. The guy handed him to my wife and he immediately went to sleep. The guy put his finger under the sloths head and he perked right up and smiled :)

I just came across your review in my search for something new to read on CC. Wonderful job! I found myself really wishing you had cruised on the Serenade. We leave on her soon and I would have loved to have seen your pictures and heard your thoughts!

WOW!! This was one of the best reviews I have ever read!! Thank you so much for all the work you put into it and thanks for all the extra tidbits that most people leave out of their reviews!

I am sailing solo for the first time on Jewel of the Seas in December so this really helped me figure out some of the best areas of the ship to hang out and eat!

Congratulations on the little one! Your wife is absolutely beautiful and as someone else already said, she is glowing in all of these pictures! You guys are a very nice looking couple. Will be interesting to see how tall your child ends up being! ;)

Thanks again for the great review!!

Sorry to respond so late to these, getting ready for a baby is exhausting!!! Down to 9 weeks to go! This is the first day I have been back on CC in over a month.

Woohoo! Going on the Jewel in October, so this caught my eye. All I can say is.... DUDE! You can eat!!! LOL. I'm a little scared to go on this cruise now! I had really wanted to NOT gain weight while on it, but I see now that's not going to be a possibility. haha. I can eat pizza every day!? Seaview, here I come! Better save my "fat pants" for the end of the week! :D

Congrats on the baby and the house deal!
