Help!! We are going on RC Freedom of the Seas 6/26 sailing...Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Caymans and Cozumel, spending a couple of days previously in Orlando. How hot/ rainy is it usually? What kind of clothes should we pack.....you are looking at Northern California people with no humidity and rain most summers..maybe 80 most days! :p Last time I was in Florida in the summer, hot, humid and rainy...how does one calm the frizzy hair too? Any help always appreciated! Thanks!;)

If you have ever been to Florida in the summer that is what the weather will be like. With the humidity it will feel hot. During the daytime think very Hot so brings shorts and t shirt and other short sleeve shirts.

Again think Florida.

Just pull your hair back during the day...and try not to worry about "frizzing"...if humidity does that to your hair (humidity makes mine go straight!!)

At night, when you're inside the ship where there's AC, you can fix your hair up nicely!

It will be very hot and humid and fabulous beach weather. The water is so warm, the snorkeling will be wonderful and we adore the Caribbean in the summer. We are so sorry HAL no longer sails the Caribbean for almost a full six months of the year. We always sailed two weeks in the Caribbean every summer and miss it. (We only sail HAL.)

Bring your most summery, lightest weight clothing.

Enjoy. It'll be great.

It's going to be very hot!

Wear a lot of sunscreen and bring a hat. I usually put my hair in a pony tail or braid and have a hat on.

Tank tops, shorts or light cotton sun dresses are perfect.

Have fun!

Leave your longjohns at home, rain isn't a big problem usually dosen't last too long. All the ladies will be dealing with the same hair problems so just relax and enjoy your cruise. Lou
