Thanks everyone! But one more question.. why do people refer to DH DW etc... wouldnt it be easier to say my husband/wife and I.. :)

 

I completely agree. It takes me longer to think of what the initials are than to just type it out. But then again, I type rather fast. :D So I've always typed the entire word.

 

You could also say it with pictures...

There was a long typed up list somewhere on here, but this is all I could find at the moment:

FCC - Future Cruise Consultant (the person you pay the FCD to while on board ship)

OBC or SBC - On/Ship Board Credits

PG - Pinnacle Grill

One little minor clarification. HMC (Half Moon Cay) is not owned by Carnival (CCL). It is owned by Holland America Line (HAL) who gets first dibs on it. Carnival Cruise Line only uses it when a HAL ship is not there. Now both lines are owned by the same parent company Carnival and plc. along with Princess, Cunard, Seabourn, Costa, etc.

Also, the Netherlands Antilles formally dissolved on 10/10/10; Bonaire is now a public body of the Netherlands (Aruba seceded in 1986; Curacao and Sint Maarten are now "constituent countries" of the Netherlands).
