Wow! They get around. It was just Friday that someone working on board said he was there. He must have gotten off that day if he joined AD two days later which would leave Majesty open again.

It's making me Crazy Gina! However, sometimes crew don't know who's on board. Back in 2008, I was on Rhapsody in May. I went to Guest Services to find out who the master was for that voyage and they didn't know!

Wow, that's so weird. How could they not know? :eek: I sent another message saying Ole is reported to be on Adventure and asking who is there right now. I think a waiter should know since they would see who is dining at the Captain's table - IF the captain even does a table. We know how that sometimes goes.

 

The problem is that it could be weeks before some crew checks messages. If I hear anything, I'll let you know.

Thanks, Gina...I suspect its going to be a newly promoted Staff Captain. Capt Ole is the go to guy for filling in to match up rotations. I figured Capt Ole was just a temporary on Majesty. Plus there's the annual captain's meeting going on this week that should be winding up by this weekend.

It would seem you still have a little while, assuming he stays on Enchantment for a while yet. Would it be usual for both captains to bring out a new ship, and to be assigned to that ship for some time before hand?

yes, they may not be working, but if its a new ship involved, they wanna see too! Capt Nik (or was it Capt Tor? I can't remember) posted pictures on his FB page of 5 captains on formal night on Oasis' inaugural. Fain was there too.

It's likely a Filipino thinking he heard Justin or he just thinks it's spelled that way. Good work figuring it out. :) It's possible he started at the time Capt. Ole left on the 15th. But there's no telling unless someone on CC was there the last week.

Karen I just got off Allure on Sunday and Captain Johnny is the master, unless something happened between Sunday and today

does anyone know which ship the temporary master, Capt Rumen Yovchev, is on. He was stf cpt on one of the Oasis class ships and was promoted for 6 weeks to master somewhere. This means that one of the regular masters didn't report back or left early.

Captain Per should be back on the Liberty mid December if the 10 week rotation is followed.
