Does anyone know if carnival valor still has a midnight buffet?

I haven't been on a cruise in 2 years....do they still have midnight buffets? We are travelling on the Valor on Jan 1.

only thing I can remember on the Valor was a late night Mexican "fiesta" - couldn't tell you how it was, I do late night dining in the MDR and to eat again 2 hrs later is how can I say it? In Italian maybe, being a gavone?

Midnight buffets have been gone for a few years.

They do have a midnight Mexican buffet the night of the deck party, around night 4 or 5. Although there is no special midnight buffet every night, I went up to the lido many nights around that time and they had burgers, fries, fruit, cookies, and a few other things available.

I am pretty sure most of the passengers really don't need to be eating at midnight..

Pizza on the back deck is delicious. I know that is open late, but no more midnight buffets.

Yes, you are all right. There is no need to eat again after the eating that goes on all day and night. lol. I was wondering because we used to just go around and look at the display of food. It was quite amazing. I don't think we ever ate at the buffet...lol.

It was pretty, but that's what most people did, looked around and the displays, took pictures, nibbled a little. And most of the food got tossed. Big waste.

The Midnight Gala was pretty awesome and very gone. Everyone needed to experience it at least once, but what a waste in reality. They do offer cookies, brownies and burgers near the aft Lido grill as well as pizza after 11PM.

Years ago on NCL they had a midnite Chocolate buffet. Loved that! Everything was chocolate.

When they did the Midnight Buffet they let people take pictures for far too long. I sure was tempted to grab a deviled egg, they looked so good.

 

Didn't like the Mexican buffet. The food was really picked through and messy.

NCL still has it starts around 11 pm, loved it too
