I agree and pretty sure we were on the same cruise. What happened to Hannah in the CL, do you know?

Are you asking about Hanna on the Radiance? When we were last on board, she had given her notice and was just waiting for her contract to end.

Her first cruise was with us on the 19th April (Transpacific) and her contract was until August. She didn't last long.

Nadja told us in May she will be in CL during our b2b2b, 8/16, 8/23 & 8/30. Think Nadja is on vacation June and July and Ricardo on vacation Aug and Sept. Really hope Nadja is able to transfer to the Liberty, she really knows how to take care of "her people"!

Hey Carla! I have seen you on our 8/16 Roll Call. We like the Diamond Lounge better on NV but with Nadja in CL will definitely have to visit her. Has anyone posted who substitute DL is in August?

I am trying to figure out who will be the Diamond Concierge on the Independence for the 11/26 sailing. It appears that Mel will still be there. Had her before and was one of the worst. If she is set to still be on that ship, I will have to choose a different cruise for that time.

 

yes it was that bad for all in the lounge that week.

Quantum does not have anymore a Diamond Lounge, the space is now used as a VIP Casino.

 

Now that Quantum in in China there are only a handful of D, D+ and P members on any of the cruises. We just got off and talk was the Concierge Lounge would be open to everyone D and higher.

There is only one Mario Reyes and, yes, he will be on Serenade. He recently was on Quantum and is now home enjoying a well deserved vacation. The correct spelling of his name is Mario ABBA Reyes.

 

We're delighted to learn that Mario will be back on Serenade when we sail in October. He is one of the best.

You mention Mel as the Diamond Concierge on the Indy. We got off of her last week and Gustavo Butcher is in the D lounge and Raj is in the D+/Suite Lounge.

 

Who is Mel?? Are you confusing ships??

 

Gustavo is the best we have encountered in a long time. We are D+ and went to the D lounge just to see him. Plus, the people were more interesting.

On Independence...

Mel -- Columella Arandia (until 6-28-2015) Gustavo Butcher as of 6-28-2015 until 8-19-2015 then FR to cover for Bertie

 

We had Gustavo back in March on the Freedom. We liked him a lot. Last Thanksgiving Columell(Mel) Arandia was the Diamond Concierge and pretty much the entire lounge was not pleased with her.

I haven't been on Enchantment Since Reyno and Carlington moved to other ships. Anyone who has been on the Enchantment recently know who the current concierges are? How are they, I don't recognize either of their names.

I know Felix(CL) and really like him....very personable and always smiling..:D:D

i could not disagree more. Mel Arandia is fantastic and we have sailed with her more than 25 times. She is efficient and effective. I have seen many other sloppy concierges who are liked because they allow non diamond/diamond plus/pinnacle members into the lounges causing absolute chaos. I also find that the crew respond to the way they are treated.

on the EN. He will cover Felix's vacation which is coming up soon.

He is hoping to be permanently assigned to the EN.

Both nice guys. I always enjoy sailing on the Enchantment.

I'm so sad to see that we will not have Francis on the Grandeur for our 7/31 Bermuda cruise!

 

We were pleased that he was still on board when we took our Bermuda cruise in May. No matter what the request, his answer is always, "Consider it done." And it always was!
