cost of taxi to pier?

Does anyone know the cost of a cab from Ft.Lauderdale airport to cruise terminal(ship)????

It is around $25.00 to $20.00 for the taxi. Look for the yellow cabs. Port is very close

Previous posters are right, it's very close and our trips have been $11.00 and $12.30 on the meter, plus tip.

Unlike Miami Airport to Port of Miami the reason you get a range in prices is the taxi is metered. Expect the fare to be roughly $12.00 to $15.00 before tip.

We just did it from the RCL pier 2 days ago and it was $13.30.

 

If you got charged $25 you got ripped off.

Between 10 and 15 dollars depending on the traffic.

Then you add the tipping per piece of luggage.

Even when I asked him to stop at a Publix to pick up some water, the cost was way below the 20.00 mark.

So you were charged a bit too much. We always ask the average cost before we get in the cab. It does not seem to bother them.
