Panama Mom-Mom Posted January 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2012 First of all-thank you to all who have given us advise about the excursions in Alaska. We really appreciate your experiences. Since we are traveling from PA, Alaska will most likely be our one and only trip to this great state. My DH is interested in going fishing. The question??? whether to choose an excursion offered by HAL in Homer, Kodiak, or Sitka? We feel the best that is offered is one that only takes 6 passengers. Has anyone done these? So many decisions. Thank you for your input.
CruiserBruce Posted January 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2012 The best place to look for this info is over on the Alaska board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Krazy Kruizers Posted January 9, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2012 You will love that 14 day Amsterdam Alaskan cruise. We did it last year. We do not fish so I can not help you on that. Check out your Roll Call -- you may get some idea if there are other fishermen there. We also live in PA and have done quite a few Alaskan cruises. RuthC Posted January 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Since we are traveling from PA, Alaska will most likely be our one and only trip to this great state. That's what my husband and I said back in 1990. I have my 6th trip to Alaska booked for this September. :D On that first trip, my husband went fishing in Ketchikan. He returned with three huge salmon, and the biggest grin I ever saw.
