Australian Slang

I have been trying to think of sayings that my parents used.My Dad used to talk about doing his block and my Mum used to tell me that my bedroom looked like a packapoo ticket :eek: Still don'know what that means.

Bum Steer : To give someone wrong advice or wrong direction. To lead someone on with false or misleading information.

Here are a few more (sorry if I have doubled up, it's hard to keep up)

 

Dipstick - loser, idiot

Up Himself - Has a very high opinion of ones self

Not the full quid - dumb

 

Dipstick : a real loser, a bloody idiot

 

 

Up oneself : have a high opinion of oneself - "he's really up himself"

Shheesh mate, what's up with you, is it my turn for your treatment.

 

I will type this very slowly so you can understand.......... the slang words I provided were the EXACTLY the same as your "corrections" only I didn't include the adjectives "bloody and real" in one definition and an example of the way this word is used in the other.

 

So no, you are incorrect, I didn't "make them up" as you suggested.

 

So what is your problem?
